JINYOUNG.
"i'm sorry."
i hold yeeun's hand, caressing it softly as she looks away. once our eyes meet, she heaves a deep breath.

"on one condition," she says. i hold my breath. "walk me home tonight." my lips curve up almost automatically.

"what are we exactly, park jinyoung?" she looks at my eyes, worried and expectant.

i warmly return her a sweet smile. grabbing both her hands and not forgetting to get lost in her mesmerizing chestnut-brown eyes, i say, "lovers?"

she looks rather surprised, but a second later, a blush becomes evident on her cheeks, eyes looking elsewhere.

"yeeun, i'll love you no matter what happens, no matter who else comes into my life, and no matter how many girls i'll ever see. it'll always be you."

she fails to focus her attention elsewhere, smacking my arm. i groan in pain.

"what was that for?"

"for dancing with that girl so sensually. i saw." she narrows her eyes adorably at me. i stand, seating beside her instead of across, putting my head on her shoulder.

"tired?" she asks. i nod slightly.

"kim jisoo. she's just a friend. an acquaintance." i raise my head for a slight while, our eyes locking, and the aroma of coffee beans intentionally filling the prepossessing moment.

"promise?"

"promise."

yeeun is still that one, after all.
