Annabeth huffed and muttered under her breath. "Wow!" Luigi's surprise rang in Annabeth's cat ears. "Why does surprise linger in your speech? If it for seeing that I'm a neko understanding will come later on. I'm going to see around this home and figure out where I linger." Annabeth spoke in a plan, dry voice. "Annabeth," Mario began, "this is the Mushroom Kingdom." Annabeth stopped in her tracks and turned to face Mario. "What?" Annabeth asked, fear present in her voice. "As in the place that mushrooms stay supreme? If so I mustn't stay, for I'm not being turned into a stew." Mario looked at Annabeth confused. Luigi then proceeded to speak up, "Mario, in the Mushroom Kingdom many hybrids are, well.... turned into a stew." Mario looked at Luigi in shock. The hybrids were considered food here? He shook his head in bewilderment. A loud clanging noise made him turn his attention to Annabeth who strangely, had a pot in her clawed hand. "Annabeth what are you do-." Mario didn't finish for she started to cook. "Oh." Mario said and turned away to enter his room.
