"Hello?"
["Y/N apo, bisitahin mo naman ako dito, ang tagal mo nang hindi dumadalaw"] grandma said.
Seriously, alam naman nya na kaya hindi ako dumadalaw ay dahil sa mga alaga nya. But she's my grandma, I can't resist her.
"Uhm, okay lola, I'll just call Jimin and ask him to pick me up so we can go to your house na," I said and smiled to myself. I miss lola na din kasi, it's been a month simula nung huli akong dumalaw and I went there for about 1 hour lang tsaka umalis na ko.
I dialed Jimin's number.
"Hello pandak?"
["Is that the right way to call you charming cousin?"]
"No, that's why I'm calling you that because you're just my cousin, nothing's charming about that,"
"Yah!"
Halos mahimatay ako nang may sumigaw.
Tumingin ako sa likod ko and it's Jimin. He laughed.
"Myghad Jimin!" sabi ko tsaka ko sya hinampas.
"Ouch, chill," he said. I rolled my eyes at him.
"So, I already heard your conversation with grandma,"
Bumuntong hininga ko.
"Oo, now we need to go there dahil miss nya na daw ako," I said.
"Bakit ba ayaw na ayaw mong pumupunta sa bahay ni grandma? Don't you love her?" he asked.
"Ofcourse I do!" inayos ko yung mga gamit sa table ko, I'm in my office kasi.
"Then?"
"It's not about grandma okay? It's about her pets," i said.
"Why do you hate animals that much?"
Tumingin ako sakanya na para bang iyon na ang pinakastupid na tanong na narinig ko sa buong buhay ko.
"You know why Jimin," I said.
"Yeah, but you're eating chicken and pig and even cow," he said then laughed.
"Shut up you potato head," I warned him.
He's still laughing.
"I hate you! By the way, Jin oppa won't come with us?" I asked.
"Nope, he's too busy with his restaurant,"
"I see, you know what, maybe we should visit his restaurant, namimiss ko na din yung mga luto ni Jin oppa," I pouted.
"He's the owner, not the chef," he said.
"Whatever, he can cook for me. Oppa can't resist my cuteness," I said.
Tumingin naman sakin si Jimin with his disgusted look.
"Lumabas ka na nga! I'll just fix my stuffs then lalabas na ko," I said.
"Okay, bye butt face," kumaway sya.
Inis naman akong tumingin sakanya at binato ng libro pero nakaalis na sya kaya sa saradong pinto yon tumama.
Pagkatapos kong ayusin yung mga gamit ko ay lumabas na ko, I saw Jimin flirting with some random girl, ngiting ngit pa yung babae habang pinapaikot nya yung buhok nya sa daliri nya, si Jimin naman nakangiti din psh, player. I rolled my eyes.
Lumapit ako sakanila at tumikhim.
"I'm not paying you to flirt with my cousin," sabi ko sa babae, she's one of my employees.
"S-Sorry po m-ma'am," she said tsaka umalis.
"Ikaw naman, hindi kita binigyan ng id para makapasok dito to flirt with my random employees," I said.
"Chill," he said tsaka ako inakbayan, I'm much shorter than him but that's not enough reason para pahirapan nya ko. Well, pandak sya base sa height ng mga lalaki so.
Tinanggal ko yung pagkakaakbay nya at tinignan sya ng masama pero tumawa lang sya.
It took 30 minutes bago kami makarating sa bahay, or should I say mansion ni grandma.
Binuksan nung guard yung gate para samin, we gave him a smile.
Nasa kotse palang kami pero tanaw ko na si grandma, she's waving at us, I waved back.
Nang makapagpark na si Jimin ay tumakbo ako papunta sa mansion at niyakap si grandma, she's already 70 but she's still strong so I'm thankful to god.
Sya yung nagalaga sakin simula nung mamatay yung parents ko, they died when I was 14 years old because they went to a forest for camping, tapos hindi na sila bumalik, hanggang isang araw nakita nalang yung katawan nilang dalawa. Sabi inatake daw ng lion kaya I hated animals since then. Kinupkop ako ni grandma hanggang sa mag-18 ako. Si grandma din yung nag manage ng company namin na naiwan nila dad at mom noon kaya nung mag18 na ko ay napunta din sakin. I'm happy to live with her pero nung may 19 na ko, she adopted some several pets. Now she has a hedgehog, sugar glider, hamster, bunny and the one hated the most, that cat.
And speaking of that cat, nandon sya sa salas, glaring at me, I glared at him din.
"Nako apo, halina kayo dito. Pinaghanda ko kayo ng makakakain," grandma said. Well as usual, naghanda na naman ng napakaraming pagkain si grandma na para kaming bibitayin.
Umupo na kami sa dining table at kumain.
"How was your job Jimin?" she asked.
"It's fine grandma, I'm doing great actually," ngumiti sya kaya ngumiwi naman ako.
"As if," I said
"Kumusta naman ang Jin hyung mo?" she asked.
"He's busy with his restaurant grandma but don't worry he said he'll visit soon kapag hindi na sya masyadong busy," he smiled at grandma.
"And Y/N? How was your company?" she asked.
"It's also your company lola," I said.
"Nako talaga itong batang to," I laughed.
"It's doing great," I said sabay subo ng steak.
"I'll just get some juice lola, I'll be back," I said.
"No, let manang get that," she said.
"No lola, saglit lang naman po ako eh," I smiled.
Pumunta ko sa kusina para kumuha ng orange juice. I was about to go back nang makita ko yung hamster ni lola na umiikot sa wheel. I just rolled my eyes.
Patuloy lang ako sa paglalakad nang makita kong nakaharap yung pusa ni lola sa daanan ko. Agad akong tumabi pero sumunod din sya.
I sigh.
Tumabi ulit ako pero sumunod ulit sya.
See?! That's why I hate this cat!
Lumapit sya sakin, I don't know, is he smiling? That's so creepy!
Kumapit sya sa paa ko, pilit kong syang inaalis but he won't let go.
Nagulat ako nang talunan nya ko kaya nahulog ko yung glass ko dahilan para mabasag yon at matumba ko, may naramdaman akong sakit sa palad ko kaya agad ko yung tinignan, it's bleeding.
"What happened, what's that noise?" agad na tanong ni Jimin, napatingin naman sya sakin at nanlalaki yung matang nilapitan ako.
"Y/N, are you okay?" he asked.
"Do I look okay?" i asked him.
"Omyghad what happened apo?" grandma asked.
"I-I'm fine lola," I just said.
"Did you trip by yourself?" Jimin asked while holding my bleeding hand, tinignan ko syang ng masama.
"Ofcourse not! I'm not that dumb," I said.
"Then?" he asked.
Tinignan ko ng masama yung pusa.
"It's because of that thing, I really hate that cat! Can you please get rid of it, grandma?"
