Chapter 3

Over that summer, Bella spent almost every day with Mike. Bela told him everything, except the cutting, but she felt like she could tell him anything else. She was so happy she finally had someone she could trust. Mike was happy to have Bella and she was even happier that she had him.

By the time school came back around, Bella was already dreading another year but Mike promised that it would be okay and, for once in her life, she trusted him. But then again, he didn't know what happened to her there. She was still very nervous but she trusted Mike, so together, they walked through the doors and fake-happily made their way to their first classes.

The first weeks alone were just aweful and Bella dreaded waking up every morning just to go back to that hell-hole of a school. But every morning, she would will herself to get up for school, but it was really just for Mike.

But one day, once they walked in the school, they immediately felt like ALL eyes were on them. Bella had no idea why. She thought it was just another stupid rumor but a week later, she was still the center of attention and she still had no idea why until one girl walked up to her and said it...
