My perfect Promposal

Hi. If you knew anything about me you would know that I'm am not a huge fan of school dances. Ever since my first middle school dance I skipped them, but that all changed in a day. This is why I love the prom!

One morning I got out of bed. Put my hair in a messy bun, ate breakfast, got dressed and went to the bus stop. Every morning I meet my best friends Amy and Brandon at the bus stop.

Amy loves the prom and everything that gives her a reason to dress up. She is crazy about fashion. I personally don't get it but you know she loves it. She is a great friend, she's kind and very outgoing. She has so many friends, I don't know why she hangs out with me because of how popular she is.

Brandon is super sweet. He doesn't mind the prom but that's only because he has a girlfriend. A super annoying one but he likes her so I guess that's all that matters. He is also really good at painting, something we have in common is art, we both love to paint together.

Me, well I'm just a typical person. My life can get a bit sad though. I only really have two friends. Two amazing friends. Amy always try's to drag me to the prom. My answer stays the same. No. Me. Samantha Wells. Hates the prom! That's one thing that won't change. Or so I thought.

When I arrived at school I opened my locker and found two notes. One that said " A gift for a night to remember." The next one said. " You will find it in the room you spend your time in the most."

You think about it. You run and open the door to the art room at your school. And see a beautifully colored dress  laid out with another note on it. You take the dress and hold it up to yourself and smile. The note says. "Meet me at your safe spot when the last bell rings."

When the last bell rung and everyone was leaving school I ran out the door to go to the bench by the fountain. That is my safe spot where I escape from everything. When I got there on the bench was a bouquet of roses.

I went home and hung out with Amy. I told her all about the notes and gifts. "It's a sign. Now you have to go to prom!" She said. " I already said no."

"Oh have I told you about Keira. She did something really annoying..."
"Ok I know you just don't like her cause she's dating Brandon."
"No I don't"
"just saying that they broke up last week."

I got a text saying " did you like the gifts?"
"Who is this?"
"Look outside."
I looked outside to see Brandon holding a sign that says "prom?"

So maybe I do like him....

That is why now I love the prom.....
