this mindset was sugar coated and dripping gold. when i got closer, and i indulged, something became very clear. the sugar was salt, and the gold was only spray-painted on. the flavor was sour and bad, while the texture was worse than anything i'd ever felt before. the only thing pretty about this was the look. it tasted terrible, but it looked so pretty. why was i so convinced?
