Nil - you sold weaponry with your father just outside meridian, a place for Outlanders to purchase goods during the red raids. You still get good business however, even though the city is now opened up to all who want to enter, turns out you got a bit of brand loyalty.
One of the many faces you would see was none other than the bandit hunter himself, Nil. You couldn't deny his looks, he's very attractive, had that bad boy appeal about him too. You knew him since he was a soldier in the red raids, you knew he. Loved the thrill of hunting people and all the people he's killed for the sake of that thrill. He did the right thing for all the wrong reasons.
He has been coming in a lot more in these past few weeks though, once or even twice a day. ( continued in the next chapter)
Sun king Avad- you were a Baker who's family owned a shop that sold goods to the nobles and the sun king himself. Baked goods like breads, cakes and pastries are very labor intensive with everything done by hand. You had heard stories of the old ones having machines specifically for some of baking, what a luxury that must have been. Baked goods can only be afforded by people of high rank, such as the people in the sun court.
Sometimes the king himself would come in and make orders for a very specific kind of bread that was primarily made only for him. You made it yourself and only you knew the recipe, sunrise bread is what he called it. It was essentially fried dough with an orange and milk based glaze and sugar on top. Your family set up this shop for the nobles and left you in charge of it right before Avad took the role of king. He was simply adorable in your eyes. He has the eyes of a child, filled with hope,he's funny and his voice is soothing yet demands respect. He also was very genuine, kind, normally stressed out but still happy and social. Erend- He frequents the bar by your store so him coming in drunk and hitting on you isn't out of the norm. What is put of the norm however, is him coming in sober like he is today. He's not normally someone you're into but the way he is simply too attractive. He's sweet, funny, protective but he is such a self sacrificing ass.
Your shop sells oseram goods in the meridian market Square. You sell little things from their homeland just so that they don't get too homesick. It's important for them to not forget where they came from, they must be proud of their people. You got here after the red raids and got the shop in a bidding war for a thunderjaw heart. As he picks out a few treats and a small carving he came over to the counter.. ( continued in the next chapter)
Helis- you and Helis knew each other from before the red raids, you have an armory that he would come into for weapons and ammo. He was and is intimidating, he commands respect with every step he takes. He would always say that you were his destined (whatever that meant) and refused to go to any other armory but yours. You aren't gonna lie and say there wasn't any thing there, there definitely was but you knew better than to get involved during the red raids, especially when everyone knew that Avad was planning a revolt but the ones truly loyal to the mad sun king. You haven't seen him since he and his shadow carja went to sun fall.
That would change however when you were asked to go out by sun fall by the king himself to help them retrieve his brother... ( continued in next chapter)
Aloy- aloy is always a serious one, she's got a dry sense of humour but you can appreciate it. She's the best hunter anyone has ever seen in the new world. She's brave, courageous, a true legend in the making. People have called her the annointed one, savage, Outlander and even, 'Aloy the Great'. She would come into your little shop for new ammo if it was on her way.
You ran from the red raids and set up in the jungles by meridian, hidden until they ended with the new king in control. Today she came in, she told you to be expecting to see her a little more since she has some important business to attend to with the king. ( to be continued in the next chapter)
