I groaned at the sudden disturbance. Really though? This early?

"Yah Seo Hyerin! Enough with those fantasies and get up! You'll be late for school!"

"Five more minutes mom! Please let me live!" I shouted and grab the pillow near me to cover my ears

"No you won't you little nerd! Get up! Vacation is over!"

Damn it.

"Fine. Don't get up and i'll get the key, young lady. I'm pretty sure you don't want me to go physical on you"

D.amn it.

"I'm going in—
"Mom! Please, I'm up now! Now go away~"

I really don't want to get up yet. But i don't want my mom to pull me to my bathroom and just push me to the shower. Hella sweet. Note the sarcasm people.

"Good honey now go take a bath and I already prepared breakfast~" she said as if she isn't a wild woman a while ago.

I sighed.

Well, it feels like I just attended my elementary school's graduation yesterday. And now? New school. New classmates. New school year.

Highschool is the best school years.

They said. Well duh. There's no way I'll have the best years of my life. Not until I graduate college.

I started to think to start my day positive since its my first day at school to attend junior high. I'm already feeling lazy thinking about it.

I started to comb my hair before going to shower and it'll be easy to fix it after. Dont tell me I'm the only one who does that. Every girl knows the struggles.

<<15 minutes after>>

I got out of the shower and started to dress up with my new junior high school uniform. The skirt is still short. There's no way they'll change that kind of uniform. Its so irritating to have this at school and i can't move properly.

I dont have a choice so I grab my blazer and put it on. Fixing up my tie after.

"Seo Hyerin! how long will it take for you to get ready?" I heard my mom's wild calling and again going to my room to check if I'm already done.

"Calm down mom, you woke me up too early! Just look at the time! 7!? Really mom!?"

"What? Don't blame me now. Blame me if I let you be late for school, then that's when I can admit its my fault for not waking you up" she replied leaning against my door frame

"'Mom..do you now what my alarm is for? What's their use? Do you?" I asked irritatingly knowing that I can wake up at 7am and get ready until 8am.

"Pft. Stop blabbering . You're already awake right? You don't want to sleep with that beautiful uniform~"

"For the hundredth time mom. This isn't my first EVER day at school. Im a highschool student. And its my 10th time to have my first day. So dont make the uniforms so special."

"Well. I was just saying that the uniform is pretty but not you. Just wish to be a uniform someday honey"

"Shut up. Remember what the others said everytime they see us together? Wow you've grown up now you look just like your mother." I said mimicking their voice "So? Ever wish to be a unifrom mom?"

She glared at me with annoyance.

Duh she teased me first.

"No breakfast. Go out. I don't need an ugly human in this house" she said while putting her arms crossed.

"Oh mother. Stop talking or referring to yourself. But I'm happy. You still consider yourself as a human" I smirked teasingly at her.

That's what I like— love about me and my mom's relationship. It feels so good having a bestfriend and a mother at the same time. We might tease each other too much but we know that it's just for fun cause she know. I love her.

I got tired of teasing mom and noticed the time its 7:30. Pft d.amn early.
I walked to the kitchen to sat down and eat the breakfast my mom did for my first day. Even though she always make breakfast.

"Mom! Get down and stop sulking! Let's eat!" I shouted. Inviting her to eat breakfast with me. Its boring to eat alone right? Who would want to eat alone?

Few seconds, my mom was already infront me and pulled out the chair. We talked about what do I think about highschool.

Of course I told her that I don't know. It was just my first day. How would I know?

It was almost 8 when we finished our talk and I got up, about to wash the dishes.

"Are you crazy? You'll wet your unifrom, let me do it when you leave, plus its almost 8 you should walk to the bus stop now." She said as she smiled. Angelic one.

"Sure mom, I'll get going now" i said as i grabbed my bag and walk towards the door to wear my shoes. She followed me.

"Be safe at school and come back home safely and early okay?"

"Yes mom! I'll go now! Don't tire yourself too much! The house is clean, so go ahead and rest, bye! I love you!" I said and kissed her cheeks before I go.

I arrived at the bus stop at exactly 8am. I was waiting for it to arrived then I got bored. I took my phone out and texted mom that..

Potato: mom. I hate bus stops.

Potato but pretty: They hate you too honey.

Potato: ugh whatever. I'll just wait. I still have 25 mins.

Potato but pretty: yeah sure. Take care honey. Mommy loves you~ so much~

I smiled at my mom's reply.

See? We aren't that wild at all.

Potato: hey mom. I'll make you guys proud again this time. <3

I kept my phone in my pocket when the bus came. I tapped my card as I walk inside and sat on one of the available seat.

<<10 minutes after>>

I got off when I already arrived at my destination. The school was modern styled. I like it.

I see. Many students are already finding their sections in those numbers and charts.

"S.hit. How can I find my room. Its too crowded" I furrowed my eyebrows in annoyance.

I'm saying the truth. I'm not some fussy cute potato who wanted everything but to be comfortable.
