Today I turn 16 years old and today the Bloody princes' turn 17. I stare up at my ceailing wondering why the hell I had to be born one year away from the princes' birthdays'. My mom walks in holding an oarnge gown that has ruffles all over and as i look at it i know instantly that I'm going to hate this birthday and I just pray that I don't get picked from the book to be one of the unlucky 10. " Rose can you please try this on?" my mom asked in her honey sweet voice. I sighed and looked away from that ... that .... thing in my moms arms." come on we need to get you ready for the book ..." mom explained in vain, " Rose get your lazy Butt up .... RIGHT NOW!"
I rolled out of bed wondering how today was going to be as I put on the giant oarnge monster of a dress, turning to face my mom I asked " Mom why do I have too wear this.... thing ?". Mom just smiled and hugged me turning me around and tightening the dress ." I... I... cant .....b....breath" I said gasping for air.
"Sorry honey... I just want you to look your best for your big day..." my mom whispered in my ear. After loosening the dress and hemming it my mom led me down the stairs and into the living room where a man with makeup and hair products looked me over and shook his head. "Whats wrong?" my mother asked.
" Nothing its just your daughter doesn't need her hair done or makeup on her , she is just perfect as she is and putting a bunch of stuff on her face would be like ruining a famous painting by Leonardo da vinci " the young man explained to mother. My mother nodded and led me to the spot where I would get my photo taken. *FLASH*
It was done the photo taken and now I could celebrate my birthday with my family.First thing we did was eat breakfast and it was Delicious . After that we had carrot cake and opened presents, my parents aren't the richest ,but we aren't poor either so I got plenty of presents." Thank you mom , thank you dad I love you both so much "I said
