Chapter Three

*Aiza's POV*

Gasps fill the air and wide eyes are everywhere. Everyone is facing the man that burst through the door, and many people look like they recognize him.They all start murmuring to each other and Takao holds me close, trying to give me a sense of security. I can't see the face from here, but he looks fairly familiar. I hear him speak loudly and everybody shushes themselves.

"I will not allow this marriage to be completed! This woman I love with all of my life, and I wronged her many years ago. That was the biggest mistake of my life."

I realize who it is, and he starts moving closer. He gets to where I am, and Takao starts to bring me closer to him, protecting me from the man.

"My name is Saeki Takamasa, and Aiza is the woman I wronged many years ago. I will not allow her to marry this man!"

I start to open my mouth as to speak, but Takao speaks first.

"Saeki, you can't stop this. She told you almost two years ago that what you did was unforgivable. I honestly thought this would be you with Aiza up here three years ago, but things have changed since then. You messed up, and now times have changed. It's time to stop trying. For all I know you could take her from me, then screw it up again, and I would have lost the love of my life for what? So she could be miserable? This woman makes me happy! You treated her so poorly and she had loved you! Move on Saeki! Please for your own health and life, just move on."

Saeki just stood there, his mouth hanging open in shock. Suddenly he gulps, then begins to speak.

"I can't move on. I just can't. I try, trust me I try, but I can't. We thought of having a family together, getting married, having this perfect life together, and I'm supposed to forget that? Do you know how hard it is to forget all of that?"

With that remark, Takao just stood there, un-moving, but deep in thought, as if thinking back to figure out what to say. He suddenly moves forward and speaks.

"Yes Saeki, I have."
