A/n: Wow, part 5. Honestly didn't think this story would have gotten this far and just fizzled off with a terrible ending. Or no ending at all. I'm not gonna lie, I doubt anyone is actually reading these. I'm just writing them because I feel more stories like these should be out there. I'm just hoping someone who writes so much better than me will find these and make them into something so much better. 😂 So, enjoy. And this is really long.🖖
(I don't actually know what Spock's house looks like, so I'm just making it up.😂🖖)*_<>_*
YOUR POVIt's been a whole day since the whole thing with me hitting my head on the wall of the ship because someone dropped something causing the ship to suddenly turn or stop or whatever, then Doctor Leonard 'Bones' McCoy wanted to keep me for medical reasons. Now here I am. Standing in the transporter room with Spock, Jim and Leonard. The three of them were talking and I was thinking about where I had left off in the lesson I had left off before leaving to go pack for the week long trip down to Vulcan to mean Spock's Parents. 'I wonder if I will attend school there for the week. Spock would probably find it logical to continue my studies even though I'm there to get to know his mother and father.' I think to myself. "Alright Spock, y/n, you guys ready to go?" Jim asks and I nod 'yes'. Spock stepped up to the pads that would transport the two of us down, along with our luggage. I smile and give a little wave as Spock says, "Energize." The familiar glowing strands of the yellow/gold surrounds us, then the next thing I knew, we were on Vulcan. I look around and sigh. "What is the problem, y/n?" Spock asks, then I look at him. "Oh, nothing. I'll never get used to that type of transportation.. it leaves a weird feeling after you land. I'd guess you'd have to get used to it. I'm not." I simply say and shrug at the end. Spock shrugs a little bit in agreement. "We must go if we do not want to be late." Spock says as he picks up his luggage and I pick up my duffle bag, then sling it over my shoulder and we start walking to Spock's parents house. Minutes later after walking through the city, I finally look up from the ground and take in all of my surroundings. "Wow.. This place is nice Spock." I say and he turns around to look at me. He slows down to walk at my speed. "Indeed. It is very beautiful." Spock says and I look up at him and see a small smile. We finally reach his parents house and he walks in through the front doors. The ceiling was much, much higher, and very open. I walked in and on my immediate left and right were stairs that led to the second floors, but they were outside of what looked like what I would call a living room. I could walk straight, and there was a couch that was almost as a half circle type of shape and where the couch is, is sunken into the floor in a circular platform larger than the couch, with two steps to get to the couch sunken in the floor. Going past the couch was many plants and other nick nacks. In the back, the wall, it wasn't a wall. It was a very large glass panel the went from the ceiling to the floor. "Mother?" Spock asks loudly and a woman, I'm guessing Spock's mother, rounds the corner. "Spock! Look at you! You've grown so well." She says walking closer to Spock then cups his cheeks and hugs him. She lets go of his again, holding him at arms length to look at him. She catches sight of my from the corner of her eye. "Oh! You must be y/n! Spock has talked about you." She says stepping over me. "Oh really? He has? That's odd.." I say looking at Spock and I see a little bit of green flush across his face. "Oh? Why's that?" She asks and I look back at the woman. "Spock has literally told me nothing about you and his father." I say then look back at Spock after finishing my sentence. "Spock!" Is all the woman says looking at Spock then to me. "I'm guessing he hasn't even told you my name." She says, I shake my head 'no'. She tuts her tongue and shakes her head. "Well then, I'm Amanda, and his father has a very important meeting, so he isn't here but he will be later. His name is Sarek." Amanda says, then I nod. "Can I ask you something, Amanda?" I ask, then she nods and says, "Sure." I move my hand in a motion for her to come closer, she does. I lean closer to her ear and whisper, "Can you tell me embarrassing stories of Spock when he was younger if you have any?" And Amanda burst out laughing. "Yes! Of course I will!" Amanda says smiling then I smile. I look at Spock and one of his eyebrows are raise and I shrug with a smile.
Hours later of Amanda, Spock and I talking (which was mostly Amanda and I), Sarek had walked in through the front doors. "Greetings." Sarek said looking at Spock, who nodded as a motion of a greetings, then Sarek moved to Amanda who walked over to Sarek and put their first and middle fingers together, then his eyes spotted me and he stared. Sarek dropped his hand from Amanda's and I stared back and said, "Hello." "You must be y/n, am I correct?" Sarek asks. I nod slightly, "Correct." "I am Sarek, Spock's father." Sarek states stepping closer to me. "Spock has told me that you are more like Vulcans, than humans." Sarek states. "I'd like to think that. I still find myself on the human side but, Spock also says that I have a logical side and I'm smarter than all the kids my age." I state. Sarek looks at Spock and walks over to him. They had a silent conversation and they had come to a agreement of walking away. I look at Amanda with confusion, and she shrugs then walks over. "Finally! Girl to girl talk." Amanda says happily after they leave. I look at her with one of my eyebrows raised, then slowly nod. "So, how is Spock with you?" She asks. "Umm.. he's good? I guess. He gives me a place to live, entertainment when him and his crew mates are interacting, and food." I say smiling at the memories of Spock and his friends joking around. Well, his friends joking around and me trying to explain what they were doing and why. "Oh! Since I'm smarter that the other kids my age, he made a program for the Hologram room that is on the Enterprise, and he said it was like the ones the kids use here for learn?" I say, but as a question at the end. "That's amazing you can learn like that! Is it easy for you?" Amanda asks, and I nod my head 'yes'. "Okay. Now, does Spock show emotion?" She asks, and I nod my head. "Oh yea.. but not like crying and smiling and laughing. But its the little things. Like when I'm sassing the Jim, or Leonard, he gives a small smirk. It's nothing big. Oh, and when he said he would adopt me. He played it off as 'the logical thing to do'. But as time goes on, I get the feeling he just wanted to do it because thats what he felt was right." I say and Amanda smiles and claps her hands lightly and quickly. "That's good! Now, tell me about you." Amanda says with a smile and I start to talk about me a little bit. But I didn't tell her everything. Like the families that have adopted me in the past and what happened to them. I just said Spock and Jim and Leonard found me on a war planet and took me to get medical help because I was badly injured. She also asked if I was human, I said yes. She asked why I was on the planet, I shrugged as said my birth parents must have done it. She took the answer and was fine with it. We kept going back and forth with questions about each other, I kept asking about Spock. I asked about the embarrassing stories of when he was a kid, amongst other things. All in the span of 45 minutes that went on, then Spock and Sarek came back. We all had talked and did whatever, then Spock saw that I was starting to get tired because the traveling and all the talking was a lot, and the atmosphere on Vulcan is much thinner than I was used to. Spock understood and excused us from his parents, brought me to my room, his was next door. I brought up my bags and places them on the floor, walked over to the bed that was beautifully made, and flopped on it. I shoved my face into the pillows, and before I knew it.. I was being shaken awake by Spock. "Y/n wake up. It is time we eat dinner." Spock says and I nod. He leaves the room, I stand up, and stretch. I sigh then walk down the stairs into the dinning room and found Amanda, Sarek and Spock standing around and talking. "Hello," Sarek says, and I wave then pull my hair up into a ponytail. Amanda alerts everyone that dinner is ready. We all went to sit at the table, and Amanda gently placed the food on the table. I didn't know what it was, but it looked good. I was handed a bowl and I looked at it. I looked at Spock and he gave a small nod, then I picked up a spoon, dipped it into the bowl of what looked like soup, lifted it to my mouth and ate some. "May I ask what this is? It's very good." I say after swallowing. Amanda smiles and Spock answered, "It is Plomeek soup." "Spock's favorite." Amanda added, then I smiled and ate more. After we had finished dinner, I had offered to help Amanda with the dishes, but she said I didn't need to. After, we all went our separate ways. All of us to our rooms for the night.
