As I woke to my consciousness, my orb alarm that looks like a great big galaxy, was glowing and buzzing, telling me to wake up.
My pet fairy-dragon, Bolt, jumped onto me.
"Hi, Bolt!" I say happily.
We were having a happy moment until my mom yelled,
"Starlight! Come down and get some food!"
With a sigh, I get up a yell back.
"Okay!"
I stamp my fingers and the orb stopped buzzing and glowing.
'Hm.. I could us a shower before I get ready' I think while stretching.

I walk to my bathroom, turning on the water. I hopped in, the water hot. Ah! Just how I like it.
Even though my skin was turning pink, I was still enjoying the shower.
While washing my body, I began thinking.
'Will they like me? Will I make new friends? What would happen if they found out my secret? '

I got dressed into a full black hoodie, pants, and shoes. After I approve the outfit I'm wearing, I teleport downstairs and grabbed my food.
"Don't forget to hide your hybrid parts, Star."
I turn around and looked at her saying,
"I know, Mom"
Tears prick her red beautiful eyes and a sad smile appears on her face.
"I-I know, Star. You can just g-get into so much trouble and big fights.... I-I just don't want you to get hurt or anything."
"Mom, don't worry! I'll be okay, I promise! Now I have to go now, Bye!!
While making my hood float onto my head, mom says,
"Bye, Star! I love you."
"I love you too, also thank you for my hood."
As I walk out the door, I sigh and say to myself,
"Here I go, to Moonstar High...."
