Klaus had taken the unconscious Kol from her arms with a soft smile, which was returned with a brilliant smile. It made the hybrid feel lighter than he had done in centuries. A smile!

Rebekah had hugged her tightly with a 'good night Gracie' in her ear, before she too, retired to her room.

And Elijah had given her a somewhat heated look that actually made her heart begin to beat a little faster. He walked forward, only to stop right in front of the songstress, again an inch away, "I wish you sweet dreams, Miss Wysteria."

The Noble Original took her hand and pressed a delicate kiss to her knuckles, taking great pride to see the faint blush across her nose and cheekbones.

Gracelyn answered, proud that she hadn't stuttered, "Thank you, Mr Mikaelson. I shall see you in the morning."

He smirked down at her and the blonde's blush darkened, "Yes you shall."

She smiled, before taking back her hand to grab two fistfuls of the gown she still wore, and trailed away to her room, still feeling the Original's burning gaze on her.

It seems, Grace thought, I might have a suitable admirer. Her mother would have been proud.

When was the last time that happened, she mused.

To be honest, Elijah reminded her of when she was human and living with her widowed mother and Isabelle. She always searching for honorable and humble men for the both of them.

Rich too.

Gracelyn just didn't listen, wanting only to sing to her heart's content.

The songstress was woken slightly when she heard the door to her room open and even more so when the sheets in her bed rustled. A single sniffle alerted to who it was exactly and why he had joined her in bed.

"Oh, Kol..." Gracelyn whispered, tugging him close to her body.

She could feel his sweaty forehead on her bare collarbone. His shaking form told her this nightmare was a bad one. Like every other time, the songstress stroked his hair softly.

"Sing?" Kol practically begged.

"Of course, dear heart."

Gracie took a deep breath and started quietly,

"~Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"
Birds singing in the sycamore trees
Dream a little dream of me.~"

The blonde ran the back of her fingers over his dampened cheeks and kissed his forehead,

"~Say nighty-night and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me
While I'm alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of me.~"

As she sang her second verse, the songstress looked up from her best friend to see a concerned Rebekah, who had woken to get something to eat... her brother was so right on how beautiful Gracie's voice was,

"~Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger till dawn dear
Just saying this.~"

Gracelyn held out her other arm to the Original sister, who looked like she was about to burst into tears. She just couldn't understand why her own mother hadn't done anything like this for them. Quickly, Rebekah sped forward and slipped into the bed, cuddling up to the other side of the blonde.

The songstress huffed with amusement,

"~Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me.~"

She heard the both of them fall asleep either side of her and Grace couldn't help but grin. She sifted her fingers through Bekah's soft hair and she sighed in her sleep,

"~Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger till dawn dear
Just saying this.

Sweet dreams, till sunbeams, find you
Gotta keep dreaming leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
You gotta make me a promise, promise to me
You'll dream, dream a little of me.~"
