They sit in silence, in the dark and damp tunnel. As they collect themselves and calm the adrenaline in them, a match is struck. The family are able to see each other's distinct faces, but can not see far past them.
"Dad I'm cold, why are we here," Nina wines, as she looks at her scary surrounding.
"Hun, it's best you forget about our home, for we can no longer go back. It is too dangerous, they know we exist." Bog says, holding his daughter tight."Bog, is this a code red?"
"Yes Grace, I'm afraid it is."
"Nina, it's time I explained a few things to you, but first we must find somewhere warm to stay."
Bog helps his daughter and wife up, and leads them down the narrow tunnel, using just the match as light.Hellooo. It's me, the strange person who wrote this. You might be able to tell that I've gotten better. Actually no, I'm just actually trying a tiny bit. Hope you enjoy and I intend on continuing the story.
