Tae walked into their living room with a snack for their friend who had started designing their home. He smiled hearing Kimmon sings as he work on the table.
"You are in good mood." Tae greeted his friend as he place a box of pepperoni pizza and a pitcher of cucumber lemonade on the table.
Kimmon just smiled at him and showed him his work. "Tae, look." He handed him the sketch pad. "Do you like it?" He asked. "I will put that there." He pointed at the wall adjacent to where their television is mounted.
Tae's eyes widened at his friend's drawing. "It's beautiful." It's a drawing of an very huge old wooden barn door with a vintage looking padlock.
"I will color the door like those huge wooden door in barn found in vineyards. It will go perfectly well with the dark brown wooden furniture you already have." Kimmon explained. "I thought of you and Tee while drawing it." He smiled at his friend. "I thought that just like the old door who was able withstand different weather conditions you two were able withstand many problems and stayed stronger together." He explained. "But if you and Tee have something else in mind you can tell me."
Tae shakes his head. "No. This is perfect." He smiled at him. "Tee would love this." He was looking at the drawing again just when his husband arrived.
"Kim, is this okay?" Tee asked while showing their friend an old thick curtain from his old apartment.
Kimmon touched the textile. "This will do. I just need something to cover your wooden floor so that it will not be ruin with paint once I started doing the wall."
Tae showed his husband Kimmon's work. "It's beautiful, right?" He asked. A smile immediately made it to his face as he saw his husband's eyes widened in glee while looking at their friend's work.
Tee nodded vigorously. "It's very beautiful, Kim." He looked at their friend who is helping himself now with the snacks. "I can't wait to see it on the wall."
Kimmon chuckled. "It will probably take me four to five Sundays to finish that so you will have to wait."
"No rush." Tae said to his friend. "Take your time."
His husband nodded in agreement. "Yes, please do not rush yourself. Sometimes you only have Sundays to rest with all the new projects. We don't want you getting sick because of this." Tee reminded their friend.
Kimmon chuckled. "It's okay." He assured them. "It's not like work at all." He smiled. "And I actually missed doing it."
Tae remembered back in college when he often see Kimmon working on his sketch pad on his free time. He had a lot of free time because the damn kid is a genius who can ace his exams without reviewing.
"You must be inspired to come up with something like this in a short period of time." Tee teased as he looked at the drawing again with great awe.
"I just had a good day yesterday and had a great start today." Kimmon beamed with happiness.
Tae looked at Tee as their friend returned to eating another slice of pizza. It actually feels good to see him happy but they are quite puzzled because just the other day Kimmon was so down with the news that Clare - their friends' fiancee had once again chose her career over their friend.
They met at Rustic Bar the other day after Kimmon met with their wedding planner for another round of food tasting. They were having a great time meeting for the first time Copter - their friend's 'gorgeous' wedding planner as they have dubbed him and Bas - the very young pretty boss as Tee named him when Clare called their friend's phone. Kimmon returned to their table looking so down after speaking to his fiancee. Their friend tried to hide it but it will not escape his and Tee's knowing eyes. They have known him for a very long time that they notice even the slightest change on their friend's mood.
