2/23/2019 10 AM; ive been doing these posts every Saturday consecutively, or every other Saturday which is not a bad way of keeping up with my side hustle progress. My account has been in the negatives for weeks, at the point where I had to confess to Lorrie why I hadn't shipped it yet. (All my automatic payments came at once, plus a medical bill, plus my boyfriend only brings $300 checks, we are still behind on bills.) I can't tell you how imperative it is, not just to my fashion style and reinventing of myself, but just to make sure our electricity doesn't turn off. I am very much like the rat they tested motivation on.
None of my basic clothes have sold - I think i'm doing a good job, bumping my posts in the for sale groups and relisting them after a few days, just to make sure a fresher audience catches my post. My other idea is to make a short video showing all the items I have on my depop for sale, just something to post on my social media that seems friendly and doesn't reek of desperation.
I also started to list the items on Poshmark and Vinted, slowly, still hoping the sales come through Depop. I even list these wonderful brand new coats for extremly low prices, a blazer I think is worth $30 is down to $15. I'd like to sell each of the nice black coats for $20-25.
i have also listed my wooden table for sale, still trying to sell it for $60-50.
I told my followers on IG (it's been a while) that I have a Depop and honestly i hate doing that because i'm always scared people will judge me. I also post it to a FB album and my FB stories but no one seems interested.
Sunday will start the last week of the month. My best bet is to push items that have the highest percentage of selling, and retake the photos, make sure the product is worth it. I think i needed this time to step back and evaluate where to put my energy. I also want to focus on the "Big Ticket Items" a Chuck. E. Cheese term for my garms that are over $20.
The Wooden Table (furniture) is at the top of this list to be sold by the end of this month.
Y2k denim top on Depop, extremly rare and early 90s even possibly 80s.
the black coats will do better probably in the yardsale groups and Vinted/ Poshmark.
Selling my olive green bellbottoms in GE, and try to sell my animal print items.
my hand hurts a lot after typing. it tingles, it aches, my fingers cramp up, it also feels frozen. touching the palm of my hand, maing little circles in my hand, its hypersensitive, the back of my hand frail and bruised around the fingers. discolored.three bumps. dot dot dot.
