The sound of my alarm filled my ears, and just as it started going off, Momo burst in through the door almost kicking it down, a wild grin plastered on her face.
"It's time for our exams Isu-chan!", she pretty much yelled.
"Momo it's literally 6am, the exams start at 9am this is ridiculous let me sleep"
"Nu-uh, we need to be early and we need to train before we leave so, we can show our best performance out there!!", she chanted.
And at those words I dozed off.

I should have known my sleep wouldn't be a long one, I am quickly taken away from the paradise of sleep by a sudden burst of cold water in my face.
"MOMO YOU ARE GOING TO REGRET THIS", I bellow, leaping out of my bed in an instant, my tail perking up. I chase after her around the grand house, there were many rooms meaning I had much room to track her down.
I ran down the long corridor, seeking out the faint sound of her laughter. I turn left. The giggles grow in volume, more and more as I come closer.
I see a lock of black hair poking out from behind a corner, I creep up to her, grabbing her by the shoulders,
"Gotcha!"
"AAH ISU-CHAN DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT", she squeaked.
I convulsed with laughter onto the floor, we sat there laughing for a happy while.

I physically could not breathe after all this laughing, we both stood up still cackling slightly, tumbling down to the kitchen,"Breakfast's on me today, what do you wanna eat Isu-chan?"
"I'd like to order a sesame bagel with cream cheese, make it quick, chef", I clapped my hands gesturing her to hurry, I snort breaking character.
"Of course mademoiselle, right away", she giggled.

I grabbed the plates out of the cupboard placing them down on the table, that's when the smell hit me, oh the amazing bagel aroma, "Momo you are literally the best cook, you can make a piece of bread gourmet", she blushed lightly. "Don't embarrass me Isu-chan",she scratched her neck, still blushing, lifting the eggs off the pan placing them neatly next to the toasted bagels.

We ate in silence. Until Momo broke it up with, "So Isu-chan, what are your plans for UA?", she exclaimed covering her mouth, still chewing.
"Well, I want to be friends with everyone in my future class, so I can feel safe in more than one environment.", I mumbled twiddling with my thumbs.
"There's one thing you don't need to worry about, I will always be here for you, ready to protect you from any malevolent assholes who try and come for you", her smile radiating with warmth. I smile back at her, picking up my plate and putting it in the sink.
"We should get changed into sport attire now we must leave soon",she proposed.
"Yeah I'll go change", and at that I head upstairs.

I ran up the grand set of stairs lined with a thick velvet carpet, I trace my fingers along the banister, carefully feeling each intricate pattern engraved deep into the mahogany wood. I walk down the long corridor past the endless dark oak doors until I arrived at a contrasting door of a light blue colour, a small plaque holding my name on it, I pull down on the handle pushing it forward revealing my room.
To my suprise it wasn't a mess, usually it is, but this is only because I fell asleep in the cinema room, yes Momo has one of those, I jumped right onto my fluffy rug, wiggling my toes through the soft hairs, I step off the rug reaching out towards my cupboard pulling out a sporty outfit; my favourite skort and a comfy sports bra, I pull on my socks and grab my shoes.
Before leaving my room I shove my Carmex™ lip balm in my sock and head out closing my room door behind me.

"ISU INCOMING", I yell running down the steps, I jump down the last 3 steps, I slip on the hardwood floor, "AAK-", a great thud follows as I plummet onto the floor
Everything goes black for a split second.
"Oh god, Isu are you okay, does your head hurt, should I call an ambulance?!", she shuffles around me, frantically looking for any injuries.
"Please do not worry about me, I am doing very good", I mumble from the floor, shakily holding a thumbs up.
"I'll get you an icepack", she hurries away into the kitchen,
I groan as my head pulsates, well at least I know I don't have any long term injuries due to my thick skull, not literally, soon Momo returned.
She was holding a bag of peas wrapped in a cloth, she hands me the 'icepack' and squats before me, still on the floor.
"I'm glad you've got such a thick skull Isu, otherwise you'd probably be dead by now"
"Ha ha very funny", I rolled my eyes, puffing out my cheeks.
At this point we were close to be being late, meaning we didn't have time to train, how convenient, both Momo and I stood up, I threw the peas down onto a table. I gathered all my things scattered on the stairs and head outside,
"I'll wait for you in the car Momo!", I called back into the house before closing the door behind me.
I walk down the path and onto the roundabout gravel driveway and as I do a smart black car pulls up, in a swift movement the just as smart looking driver gets out, opens the passenger door and gestures for me to enter, a pleasant smile on his face.

I enter the car settling myself into the leather seat just as Momo joins me in the car, the driver slams the door shut and returns back into his seat.
The two of us had already fastened our seatbelts awaiting the journey, the driver turns around and states,
"En route, UA", he turns back around and starts the engine, we drive away onto the main road.

During our journey I managed to slip into a light slumber sleeping throughout most of the journey, at some point Momo elbowed me harshly in the ribs waking me up instantly, I begin to make out UA in the distance. I grab onto Momo's hand and squeeze it, pure joy on both our faces. "Momo, this is it, the school of our dreams, this is the beginning of our journey to becoming Pro Heroes", I beam at her, she simply smiles back.

Well damn this it, it took me a whole ass week to write this but here ya go; my first chapter, if you have any feedback do leave it, I'm open to criticism, if I do make a spelling mistake or grammar mistake please tell me in the comments, I will correct it straight away.
