They are insecure themselves, inside they are ashamed of what they're doing because they know and they can't not do it because Slenderman controls them. But over all they are all different and know that, Brian and Tim try not to acknowledge Toby's ticcing, since he does not like when people mention it, Toby and Tim try not to acknowledge Brian's scars, and Brian and Toby try not to acknowledge Tim's depression and nicotine addiction, so they're all equal at least somewhere besides fighting.
