aaliyah smiled as she checked the time on her phone which read 5:59.
she was a couple minutes away from the hotel she was staying at, which meant she was officially in baton rouge.
she looked at the passengers seat where her bestfriend adrienne sat as she took a video on snapchat.
"bitch hang up and call baby joe." she said to adrienne who gave her a dirty look before dialing his number.
she had told kentrell she couldn't make it when really she was going to surprise him during his concert.
"wassam." baby joe said as he answered the facetime call.
"we here in baton rouge and we headed to the hotel, so send us the addy to the concert." aaliyah responded.
"ion know why you had to keep this a secret, this shit mad hard to keep from yb."
"nigga shut up and send the address and what time the concert start." adrienne replied with a giggle.
"baby, don't talk to me like dat." baby joe replied with a smirk.
adrienne and baby joe had started fucking with eachother a lil while back when aaliyah introduced them.
"i'm sorry baby, i can't wait to see you."
"girl, hang up. i'm still here the fuck." aaliyah said her face scrunching up in fake disgust.
"shut yo mean ass up" baby joe said mugging her back, "but ight catch y'all later." he finished fore he hung up.
as he hung up, aaliyah pulled up to the hotel as the girls piled out the car and picked up the bags that they had packed for next two days.

"best fran, come take my pics real quick." aaliyah said to adrienne as she handed her her phone.
adrienne took the phone as she snapped pics of aaliyah.
