Marshall lee's POV
its been a week since me and fionna have been dating and every moment had been amazing. today was the day that we had planned to tell cake about our relationship. "fionna you know that she hates me" i whined has fionna dragged me. "she can deal with it because i love you and nothing is going to change that fact." she turned around quickly and peck me. when she pulled away she was blushing, i laughed and started to walk again. after like 5 minutes fionna's tree house came in to view. i took a couple of deep breaths as we got to the door. "everything will be fine i promise" fionna reassured me one more time before we walked in. "cake! im home and i have something i need to tell you" fionna yelled. "coming!" cake yell back. i heard some shuffling before cake came in to view. she smiled at fionna but once she noticed me her smile disappeared. "fionna can you please explain why marshal is here, standing in this tree house and holding your hand." cake looked pissed. i backed up a little bit. " me and marshal are dating- " she didnt get to finish because cake started yelling. most of the things i couldent understand but the ones i did where colorful. "CAKE!" fionna screamed. cake stopped yelling. " i know you dont like him but i love him and thats that and if you cant accepted that then im just going to move in with marshall" she huffed. cake gaped at here, clearly speechless by her threat. "baby i didnt know that you loved him! come her!" cake held out her arms and fionna ran and gave her a hug. after standing there akwardly while they hugged for like three minutes cake pulled away and walked over to me. "if you do anything to hurt her i will kill you"she hissed. i nodded quickly and slowly made my way back to fionna. cake glared at me for a couple of more seconds before she smiled. "you guys hungry? i just made some strawberry short cake." we both nodded and followed cake into the kitchen to eat some delicious cake.
