Chapter Five

Bianca whips her head toward me and shifts and looks at me “Did you just say you love me?” She asks I just stare at her “Was that out loud?” I say embraced “Uhh yeah it was out loud.” She says looking at me weird “What’s up.” She then says looking at me. I just stare at her then look back to the show we’re watching. “Nothing’s up I just meant that I love you as a friend.” I say trying to play it off. “See I don’t think you did Kahlan. I think you love me and your just scared to let me close because you think I’ll hurt you like your mom but I’m not mother Kahlan so just let me in.” She says grabbing my hand. “I am not scared.” I say before I sitting up she stares at me. “Prove it.” She says with a smiling at me I grab her the collar of her shirt and pull her into a kiss. She kisses me back we hear footsteps and pull away from each other quickly.

“Hey girls.” Kendall says as she comes down the steps “I’m gonna order pizza for dinner what type of pie do you girls want?” Kendall says with a smile coming into the living room. We look at her and she just stares at us and waits for our answer we’re discussing it on the couch. “Pepperoni.” We say in unison with a smile and then going back to watch World’s Dumbest Criminals. “Alright carry on with whatever it is you were doing.” Kendall says as she left to go call the pizza place. I just look over and smile at Bianca who grabbed my hand. I do think I love her I just don’t want to rush myself into something I’m not ready for I mean I have issues I need to work on. But when I am around her I feel like I finally understand what Kendall means when she tell Dustin that he is her one and only true love, her soulmate. I hear a knock at the door and get up to answer it.

I open the door “Hello.” I say looking at the pizza guy it’s the guy who was with Charlie at the Dairy Queen so his name is name is Zane. “Kendall the Pizzzzzzzzzzzzzzza is Herre.” I yell up the steps. Kendall comes running down the steps with cash in her hands. “Hello the total is 24.95.” Zane says with a smiles Bianca came in to grab the pizza because I got yelled at not to carry anything. “Hey Zane.” Bianca says grabbing the pizza I just follow her into the kitchen. “Here you go keep the change Zane.” Kendall says handing him 40$. I sat at the kitchen table next to Dustin who is dressed all fancy. “Why do Ma and you look so fancy?” I ask grabbing a slice of pizza. “I am taking her out tonight enjoy the pizza.” Dustin says getting up and kissing the top of my forehead. “Want to borrow my car?” I ask with a smile. “Can I?” Dustin says turning and jumping up and down like he just won the lottery. I just look at the counter where my keys are. He grabs them and then walks Kendall out to my car and opening the door for her.

“I want her back by midnight.” I yell jokingly to them they just laugh and drive off. I shut the door and turn to see Bianca standing there with a smile. “We should talk about earlier.” She says grabbing my hand I pull her towards me “I don’t want to.” I say kissing her. She wraps her arms around my neck and I pull her closer to my body. After a few minutes we pull away from the kiss. “What does this mean. I mean are we like?” She says putting her forehead against mine. “Don’t say it.” I say walking away before adding “Let’s just see where the cards land.” I say heading back into the kitchen to finish my pizza. “So are we still on for the dance?” She says asking me as she grabs a slice of pizza. “Yea I didn’t plan to go with anyone else.” I say there’s was a knock on my door and Bianca got up to go get it.

“Hello” Bianca says answering the door. “Hey your mom told me you were here.” Chris says looking at her and then over to me “You are spending a lot of time with her are you like a couple? Oh my god she’s the reason you broke up with me isn’t see?” He says pointing a finger at me “Come down Chris I broke up with you because we didn’t connect anymore.” She says looking at me “I knew you were Bi Bianca but I never thought you were a liar.” He says turning and getting back into his car. I just watch Bianca she turns and looks at me and then walks back to her slice of pizza. “You okay?” I ask she looks at me and smiles. “I’ll be fine he’s just over reacting to something he thinks he knows.” She says taking a bite of her pizza. I got up and head to the bathroom downstairs and get a shower. I hear a knock at the door “It’s not locked.” I say as I lather my hair with shampoo. The door opens “Did Bianca go home?” Kendall says with a smile. “I think she went to go find Chris.” I say as I started to wash the hope out my hair. “Oh okay well were going to the movies later with your bother when you get out the shower text her find out if she wants to go with.” Kendall says leaving the bathroom. I finish up my shower and straighten my hair.
