Meeting A Monster

Naruto woke up in a sewer. He tried getting up but he slipped as a slimy mixture covered the floor. Flinching, he heard loud snores coming from a giant, filthy cage. Naruto being the curious boy he is tried to go inside the cage. Tried. He got pushed back by an invisible force. The snoring came to a halt as the young blonde was massaging the place he fell on. His body froze as he heard a low and dark chuckle coming from the mysterious cage. "H-hello?!"
Silence.
"Is anybody there?!"
"Why did you come here so soon?" Naruto blinked twice as he saw the creature coming out of the shadows. It was a giant orange- almost red fox, with what seemed like 8 tails. No 9 one was hiding behind the others.
"What do you mean come here so soon?"
The giant fox only grinned showing his sharp teeth.
"Are you the monster Sakura-chan has been talking about?" Naruto asked trying to piece all the pieces together. "Sakura..? hm.. isn't she the one that called You the monster." Said the fox that clearly doesn't like being called a monster, empathising on the 'you'. Naruto's eyes suddenly softened obviously showing hurt as his so called friend just called him a monster. "Aren't you aware of the odd looks that the villagers give you while you walk on the streets?" Said in a darker tone. "How they glare at you and treat you like complete and utter garbage?!" Said the creature his voice slightly raising. Naruto's eyes widen as he remembers his childhood memories. How he would have to starve for days cause the lady didn't let him in the store. How he had to wear the same small, worn out clothes because the villagers wouldn't let him inside the stores.
