Petal 4: Determination Symphony
As Yukina had finished getting ready, Lisa appeared into her bedroom univited.
She smiled, and startled Yukina, but that was fine.
"So what are we going to do today?" Lisa smiled, and looked at Yukina.
"We are going to do something fun." Yukina proposed, and looked at Lisa.
"You want to bake some cookies for tomorrow's practice?" Lisa asked, and Yukina proceeded to nod.
"Alright then, who's kitchen are we doing this in?" Lisa said, and Yukina responded with "Yours."
Lisa nodded, and they both went to Lisa's house (which wasn't that far away). Once the girls had got there, Lisa had started to pre measure the ingredients.
As soon as she was done with that, Yukina had started to grab the utensils that were needed to complete the batter. She placed them onto the counter, next to Lisa's pre measured ingredients.
"Are you ready to learn how to do this?" Lisa asked Yukina, and she responded with a smile. Yukina loved Lisa's cookies.
"Alright then, the first thing I need you to do is mix the butter and sugar together when it comes a soft consistency. Scrap off the sides when needed." Yukina nodded and began to do that. While she was doing that, Lisa started to mix the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Afterwards, she spooned the dry ingredients into the mixing bowl, and when the batter was made, she folded chocolate chips.
"Do you want these cookies to be circular or have shapes?" Lisa asked, and Yukina had wanted heart shaped cookies..
Lisa began to place flour on her countertop, and spooned some of the dough onto the countertop. She began to teach Yukina how to knead the dough in order to cut the shapes out.
After the two were done, the day was cut short. Lisa pulled the cookies out of the oven, and they had smelled really good.
"Would you like one before I bag them up for the other members?" Lisa asked Yukina, and she happily responded.
"You know how much I love making these cookies with you, Lisa. They taste as perfect they always do." Yukina smiled, and gave Lisa a hug.
"Yukina--, are you alright?" Lisa asked, and Yukina smiled.
"I'm always alright when I'm by your side." Yukina said, looking at her.
"Awh, Yukina!"
