The past two weeks have been hectic like it always is for the Blaney family. I went to Michigan which was my first race from a two-week break. Ryan picked up his sixth win, then we traveled on to Bristol where Ryan also won. Ryan was now ahead in the point standings but still did not have a very comfortable lead ahead of Emma (Turner) and my brother.
It wasn't only racing that leads us to a busy week, it was also projects, Ryan and I had together and separate. Ryan and I announced that next season Blaney Motorsports would be an Xfinity team and a Truck team. For me, the seven new Whit and Kay's stores around the country opened up, and we're flourishing. Whitney and I were also planning new and exciting things for Whit and Kay's, which we'd be announcing today.
The last project was probably one of my favorite ones, Ryan and I were reached out by a publisher, who wanted us to put our life story into a book. It so far talked about who we met, how we reconnected, about our kids, racing, life challenges (Peyton's cancer, death, etc), and so much more. Today, I was also supposed to promote the book on social media to get fans hyped about it.

This book will talk about our life, relationship, kids, racing endeavors, and personal problems we'd faced over the years. We'll also be more open about talking about Peyton and her struggles with pediatric cancer, and how we coped with her passing. We can't wait for you guys to read it! ❤️
