I sighed as Lisa applied the ice pack on my eye. How the hell did we end up here together.
Basically what happened at AOs, was we got in trouble and were banned for 2 months from entering the gym and that was that. We also had to do two weeks of community service, which I was wasn't complaining about. I already regularly help out at the daycare that's just not too far from campus.
"Why did you do such a stupid thing", Lisa asked applying more pressure on my eye.
I ended up following Lisa to her dorm, even though males were prohibited into the girls dorm, I agreed in following her. And don't you dare ask me why.
She had a whole bunch of stuff out in front of her, it made me curious what she majored for.
"Well..." She asked, clearly not taking silence for an answer.
"It just seemed like the right thing to do", I mumbled.
She squinted her eyes. I thought she was gonna pry and ask for a better answer but "Don't mumble, I hate it when people mumble", was all she said.
I nodded my head.
It was silent and it was the type called awkward silence, I cleared fake phlegm from my throat.
I saw her smile as she started putting on a warm towel on my eye. I wondered why.
"Sorry, I know we don't know each other, but I felt this just seemed like the right thing to do", She said smiling again.
And I......unconsciously smiled too.
