What About Dance?

Chapter 5

So Megan and I were unpacked and were looking around the beach for some cool shops. Then we came across an Urban Planet.

We walk in and start sorting through some clothes. After about an hour or two we walk out with two bags each. We still have a few bucks left so we head to the mall hoping to find some cute phone cases.

"They have an Ardenes in here. you wanna check it out?!" Megan asks me as she points to a small boutique.

"Let's go!" I squeal.

So we go to Ardenes and check out bows and of course, phone cases. We end up getting matching cases that are pink and have a glittering bow on it.

While we walk home I bump into a girl my age.

"Oh sorry! I didn't see you there!!" I yelp

"Hey it's fine! You look new around here. What made you come up to Cali?"

"I got called into a dance competition."

"Sweet. If you need any help or anything I dance too! I go to Star Dance Academy. My names Kate

"My names Abigail. Call me Abby. This is my friend Megan. We better go now, bye!"

When we got home I smelled dinner. Mashed potatoes and gravy filled my mind. Over dinner my aunt asked about my day and stuff... but I drifted off into a daydream... I wonder what the studio will look like. Who else is there.

Right after dinner I was searching my laptop and saw 3 emails from my mom. I just ignored them and went straight to the internet looking up 'California Elite Dance Studio' I saw the images and the gym was huge! Blue foamed floors surrounded the area. It was really cool!

Tomorrow I thought. Tomorrow I'm going there and I'm going to dance my legs off.
