I must've fallen asleep because I felt someone shake me awake. I snapped my head up and gasped in fright. I nearly hit what shock me by accident.
" Whoa baby calm down! It's me!"
I looked up to see Pit standing them. I felt my face grow hot with embarrassment. Lately I've been having nightmares. Most of the time I can't tell if it's real or the nightmare world. I reached out to touch his arm to see if he was real. He wrapped his arms around me to show me the truth. He must have heard me sobbing because the next thing I knew, he was stroking my hair.
" Shh baby it's ok. It's ok. I'm here. Its was just a dream. It's ok I'm here. Shh."
I tried my best to calm my crying so he wouldn't hear it. But no matter what I tried it just made it worse. But Pit, oh Pit didn't tell me to shut up like my dad would. My dads sick of me anyways. I don't know why though, I've dine everything I can to please him. But it's still not good enough.
" Shhh," he stroked my hair gently. " Everything is ok."
I took deep breathes to stop crying but it wasn't working. I kept sobbing and sniffling. I hated it when Pit saw me in this state. It made me look weak. But he never complained or insulted me. He knew how scary they are for me. He was so understanding. I can't find a reason not to love him, because they is simply no reason not to. Pit is perfect. He is my everything.
" Would you like to tell me about it?" He asked.
" I dreamt that three people got killed at school today. One of them was someone we know."
" Don't worry love, it's just a nightmare. It'll never happened."
" I'm sorry."
" There's nothing to be sorry about."
He gave me a peck on the lips. Pit smiled at me wiped my tears away with his thumb. I looked in his eyes as he did so. He leaned in and kissed my forehead.
" Do you wanna skip school today?" He asked.
I was quick to respond. " Yes!"
