Merrin's POV

As I lead Tsarria to the basement I can't help but to focus on nothing other than the feel of her hand in mine. I know she will have to leave but maybe I can get her number before she leaves. It's stupid but right now I can't stop thinking about getting together with her. We reach the basement and I realize her clothes must be soaked. I offer to take her cloak and she cautiously undose the clasp and hands it to me. I catch sight of her dress and the tear up the side and try to stop the thoughts flooding my mind.

Damn it should be Derick thinking likre this not me! Merrin, "Mute mouth", me, the one who never gets in to trouble is having these kind of thoughts? My brain panicks as I hang her cloak on the radiator. Still trying to stop the flood of the thoughts that should not be invading my mind. " Uh would u like some dry clothes?" I ask, "In afraid we only have men's clothes."

"Um ok, yes I would like that." she says quietly speaking a whole sentace for the first time.

I go to the dryer, as I feel my cheeks flush, and pull out a t-shirt of mine looking at it I realize its not going to fit her real well, I shrug and find a pair of my jeans and a belt down here that I never wear. I hand the clothes to her. "You can change in the bathroom around the corner, just hang your dress on the rack in there."

She mumbles a few words of thanks and left to change. As soon as the door closed Derick turned to me a maniac smaile on hIs face. "Aww Mer-mer's got a girlfriend."

" Shut up." I said punching him in the shoulder and looking down at my lap. All the same I could feel my face turning red which probably gave it away. Derick tilted his his head and leaned forward trying to look in to my face. I shoved his head away and he grinned again.

"Mer-mer is having dirty thoughts." He teased. Then composed his face into a look of mock shock."No not sweet, little, quiet, innocent, Mer-mer."

"Der please stop calling me that, in fact stop it all together."

"Hey sorry Mer just trying to have a little fun," Derick said throwing his hands up in defence, " but you can't deni our guest is quite the piece of work." He shakes his head, "A fine piece of work."
