The lights were incredibly blinding. Everything was fuzzy, voices were muffled, and my head hurt like hell. As everything began to get clearer I saw that there were a few people around me. Sitting in the chair next to me was Petunia. Remember that selfish , snobby looking blonde I told you about? She was there too, looking particularly suspicious.
"Mmm Hum Nuh Mm mhm!" someone said, I think it was Petunia. I wanted to turn my head to face her, but as I previously stated-It hurt like hell. I did it anyways making my head hurt so bad that I could hear my heart pounding in my skull and rattling my brain. I winced and squeezed my eyes shut. I tried to raise my hand and cover my face but I found that I couldn't move my hand, or rather, I would prefer not too. It was clear that at the moment the least I had was a headache, or was it a migraine? I could have had a concussion, I don't know how long I've been out. I opened my eyes and a blurry Petunia was there, holding my hand and looking quite worried and furious as she was yelling at one of the students around me.
"Don't say it was her fault! That stupid-" Her conversation was cut short when she looked at me and saw that I was awake. The amount of relief that was showing on her face was incredible. She helped me sit up and I looked around. I was in the school infirmary, in one of the beds. I don't think that there was anyone else in them. The whole room was practically full of kids, they must've seen me faint. Who am I kidding, of course they did.
"Ummm... Hi?" I asked, genuinely confused about the situation. There was a sudden pause and all conversations stopped. The an uproar of students cheering and laughing, talking and smiling, being loud and ridiculous. It was too loud, it hurt my head, and it hurt it a lot! I yelped almost like a dog when they hurt themselves in a minor way, clutching my head and bringing my knees to my chest.
"Ow! Too loud guys!" I cried, the quieted down.
"OH THANK GOD!! I was starting to think you were DEAD! " Petunia shouted with a sigh.
"Ow! Petunia!" I whined. She giggled quietly.
"Oops..." she whispered "Sorry." I smiled at her and looked around, got up from under the sheets, and started getting out of the bed. Students parted to let me through, Petunia soon followed.
"Mind if I ask what happened?" I pondered as we strolled down the hall, all eyes on me.
"Well. You're eyes flashed red, foam started coming from your mouth, then it stopped , you fainted, someone shouted to call the nurse. I rushed over, pushing some people out of my way as I did. We carried you to the nurse who put you in a hospital bed, well no, a nurse bed. We waited for you to wake up and as far as I know, none of us paid any attention to the headmistress. Any of us children anyways." she skipped down the hall.
"Wait," I stopped in my track, "how long was I out? Do you know why I fainted?" I panicked grabbing her arms.
"Okay, slow your roll! You were only out for an hour or so. But I don't know why you fainted. Can you let go of me? Please?" she asked wincing a bit. NO no no no no! Oh God! No no no! If you don't know there is a pressure point a few centimeters above the underside of her elbows. If you press it, she can't switch from solid to ghost. But I'm getting distracted, earlier I had ears and a tail. Currently I don't have them. I have to leave school, I can't stay here. Oh no, this is bad, this is very bad! I let go of her and stepped back about four steps.
"Wow, for someone who was just unconscious for one whole hour you have one heck of a grip." she said, gingerly rubbing her arms. She was bleeding, I looked down at my hands in horror, I still had claws. Hugging myself, I took around seven more steps back. She looked concerned and reached out to me. I hissed and took another step back.
