"Fuck!!" The blonde haired male yelled, pacing the room that he and Sero were currently in. Kirishima wasn't in the mood to hang out, so he'd just went to his dorm, but ohohoho, had he missed the fuck out by ignoring their requests. Ashido was on her way to the two idiots, wanting to discuss the text after reading it.
Meanwhile, Shouto was on the other end of the line, and saw that only Kaminari, Sero and Ashido had seen it. They hadn't responded, leaving him on 'read'. Yes, it was quite frustrating being aware that they just weren't texting back, but he could only assume that they were trying to process it. Todoroki did say it out of nowhere, afterall.
"How?? I thought he'd be too dense to work it out!" Said Mina, pacing around the area that she and her friends were. Kaminari spoke up, saying "I dont know! Im surprised too!!".This really was uncalled for, you'd think he wouldn't make any assumptions after that one time he openly theorized on Midoriya being All Might's illegitimate child.
The three wanted it to be seen as if they weren't currently discussing the exact topic, so they all had to contribute with a small text back or else they'd fuck up their chances.
((For the contacts, im gonna just throw in that the Bakusquad probably named themselves on Todo's phone))

Shouto was sitting there in his dorm, trying to figure out what to write back. The boy thought for a few moments, landing on being blunt and just saying it as he thought. Because that was a good idea.

Me: It's Bakugou, correct?
Pinky: that's right!
Tape🅱️: we already knew, sorry todoroki. we wanted to see if you could figure it out
Me: That's fair.
Pikachu: how did you even figure it out anyway???

Once Shouto received that text, he began writing a lengthy paragraph about how he remembered the initials while he was yielding the devil's breath, before realizing that he was talking to a bunch of morons who would barely understand anyways. So, he shortened it. So they wouldn't pass out from wanting to understand his 'fancy writing'.

Me: I just happened to connect the dots earlier today, is all. Now that i know, it seems rather obvious.
Pikachu: so u actually didn't know?¿?
Tape🅱️: wow you are dense
Pinky: don't be so rude to Bakugou's future husband, sero!
Me: I highly doubt that would happen.
Tape🅱️: have you not seen the way he looks at you?
Pikachu: it looks like he wants to eat you half of the time!

Kirishima had been bombarded with notifications, deciding to see what the fuss was about before reading the conversation over and spitting out his Apple Juice. This chat had only been active for, what, 20 minutes? There were so many texts already! He decided to join the frenzy, typing away.

Manly: Usually i'd dissagree but uh yeah he looks at you as if you're an ornament. I haven't seen him look at anyone like that
Pinky: hi kirishima!
Me: Hello.
Tape🅱️: yo kiri
Pikachu: oi you're late!!
Manly: Shut up dude
Pinky: get here on time next time todo starts a gc!!
Manly: I will, I will!

Shouto watched his newfound friends ramble and 'argue', feeling a small smile sneak its way onto his face. The four really were just as bright as Midoriya and his own usual group, he'd say even brighter with the humour and overwhelmingly welcoming nature of the 'Bakusquad' becoming rather obvious once you looked their way for more than a few minutes. Although such horrible things had happened to Todoroki, all these things that his family had put him through...he did want to be able to smile. Even just a little more.
Even though he felt selfish being in their little group, it somehow made him feel more at home than Midoriya and the others ever had. Not that he didn't like them, he still owed them alot from teaching him how to even start a basic conversation, but that didn't mean that he wanted to stick to them forever.
The heterochromia glossing over his irises and just out the range of his pupils wanted to set their sights on the Bright Ashido Mina, the Strong Kirishima Eijirou, the Silly Kaminari Denki, the Skilled Sero Hanta...
and, of course..
The Incredible Bakugou Katsuki.
It made him feel oddly tingly to think about said male, words you'd never usually hear being thrown the blondes way. Words like 'cute', 'angel','beauty'... Words that simply didn't display an accurate image of the angry pom-pom. He wanted to get closer to him. To all of them.
Then, his train of thought was knocked off its rails as he glanced down and saw how much his phone was buzzing. Shouto somehow hadn't felt the vibrations, reading over the chat once again.

Pinky: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Tape🅱️: for the love of fuck, calm down
Manly: Yh mina drink a milkshake or smth smh
Pikachu: he's probably just asleep you worried dumbass

Pikachu: he doesn't even know that Todoroki knows

The messages went on and on, but Todoroki couldn't help but chuckle and smile as he read through. The silly messages, acronyms he didn't understand, it all was so nicely put together into an aethstetic of off hand comments that laced perfectly into one another.
They all had only one man, one guy to thank for this chance of a lifetime.
