I hope they aren't mad at me for too long. Tours never go well when there's drama. Why did I do this?
Roger burst out laughing. "Ha! Only you wouldn't be able to carry on a simple prank! This was the best fucking idea I've ever heard! Genius! Mate, you should let this carry on for at least a day or two. God, Brian..."
Brian nervously chuckled and a sudden wave of relief washed over him. The rest of the band started laughing at him, too. Then that relief turned into hurt and anger. "Well sorry that I didn't want you guys to freak out over a problem that didn't even exist! You lot are always so over dramatic I knew you would probably ruin today for the rest of us even if this was a small problem! God I try to be nice and all I get in return is being made fun of! But of course you would never care because all you do is care about yourself! God I fucking hate you, Roger!" Brian stormed out of the building and started to walk away. He didn't know where he was going he was just... going...
"I... I've... never seen him that... upset before..." Roger put down his bag and walked out of the studio. After he knew that he couldn't be seen through the window of the building, he ran in the direction that Brian went. After a minute or so, he stopped when he spotted a mess of curly brunet hair moving towards a park he saw in the distance. Brian. Roger took off running towards Brian, weaving through the giant crowd.
Once he was almost caught up with the taller man, he started thinking about what he wanted to say. Should he say he's sorry? Should he say he was wrong? Should he say Brian was wrong?
By the time he was caught up to Brian, they had already reached the park and Brian was sitting on a bench. Roger was stunned into silence when he saw Brian's face. He looked so angry. Roger also noticed that his eyes were red and puffy. Oh god he made Brian cry!
"Brian..." Roger started at Brian with wide eyes. "Brian oh god I'm sorry. I-"
"Save it, Roger. I understand that it's fun to make fun of people but sometimes you can be really hurtful." Brian looked up at Roger with a tear stained face. Oh god Brian sounded like a therapist. But Roger still felt guilty. He sat down next to Brian and neither of them said anything. They were completely silent. The sun was beating down on the two and the light breeze made the day seem perfect. They didn't get these types of days in England. It was pretty much always gloomy. Suddenly, Roger felt really tired from running and couldn't help but lean his head on Brian's shoulder and fell asleep on the blushing man. Suddenly, all of Brian's anger melted away. He didn't really know what to do now. He didn't want to wake Roger so he just carefully reached into his bag to retrieve the book he was reading.
The two stayed like that for almost half an hour until he decided it was time to go back to the studio and apologize. On second thought, maybe he wouldn't go back. He already caused a scene and screamed at all of them. He just needed a little bit of time to calm down. He won't go back to the studio but he doesn't want to stay at the park, either.
"Rog... Hey Roger lets go somewhere. Just the two of us," Brian said as he poked the blond awake.
"Okay where do you want to go?" Roger said sleepily as he sat up and stretched.
"I don't know. Wherever. Are you hungry? Let's find a place for brunch." Brian stood up and looked at Roger with a soft smile on his face. Roger and Brian walked side by side along the busy streets of Los Angeles. While walking, Brian had a strange urge to hold Roger's hand while walking. He didn't know where it came from it just felt right. Of course he didn't because he thought it was just some random thought and Roger would think it was weird but little did he know, Roger was thinking almost the same exact thing.
"Where do you want to go to eat?" Roger asked. Brian shrugged. Eventually the two just agreed to go back to the hotel and see what's there or order room service.
Once they got there, they agreed to go to Brian's room instead of Roger's in fear of Katlyn still being there. Brian couldn't help but ask what happened. "I know you weren't actually late because of traffic. Was it Katlyn?" Roger nodded. "What happened?" Brian asked as they entered the elevator.
"I told her that I had to leave for rehearsal and she told me that I should skip so that we could spend the day together. Of course I told her that I was not going to skip because this was important, right? Anyways, she kept saying how I needed to spend more time with her and how I was obsessed with you guys too much. Then she said you didn't deserve me and she called you fags. I just..." Roger let out a sad sigh. "I just couldn't deal with her anymore. She seemed nice at first but then got more mean and protective of me. Then on top of that she's homophobic! I just left. I didn't want to talk to her..."
"Roger..." The elevator stopped and the doors opened. They stepped out and walked to Brian's room. Brian opened the door with the key and they stepped inside. Roger sat at the desk and leaned back. "Ooh this desk is nice. Ooh a lamp. Did you write any songs here? It's really nice..."
"Well um..." Brian turned a light shade of pink. "Uh... Yeah I wrote one last night. It's uhmmm... yeah I wrote one last night..."
"Oh cool what's it called?" Brian sat on the desk in front of Roger and stayed silent. "C'mon tell me. Ooh is it about a girl?"
"Umm..."
How the hell was Brian going to get himself out of this one?
