I fixed Aurora's hair so she looks a little more like Cole.

I was up early again and went outside to train and was surprised to find everyone already training! I started off simply with my fans, then did some sparring with Zane, and then sparred with Cole. Jay was busy dodging arrows and Kai was practicing his Spinjitzu. I went to attack Cole with my fans but I felt a small push to my back and I was pushed onto one of the spinny training regimes. It was Zane who was wielding my brother's scythe and using Spinjitzu, freezing most of the ground.

I tried to walk forward to get Zane to stop but I slipped and landed on my face. "This roof isn't big enough for the five of us." I nodded and held my forehead. "Correction. This roof isn't big enough for him." I glared at Cole from my position on the ice and he glared back. "It's like he's in his own world. I bet he can't even hear us." Just as Jay said that Zane spun over and bumped into me before stopping and using his shurikens. But since he bumped me I slid across the ice and hit the wall, Kai and Jay laugh.

I carefully walked over to them as Sensei walked over. "Sensei, Zane's weird." I glare at Kai who looks away. "What is weird? Someone who is different or someone who is different than you?" I looked up at Sensei and beam up at him, "I don't think Zane's weird, he's just eccentric." Sensei smiles at me and ruffles my hair. "No, sensei, he's 'weird' weird." Cole, Jay, and Kai listed a bunch of examples from the time Zane walked in on Cole using the bathroom, to Zane laughing at an emotional drama (those are funny as heck I can't blame him), and finally to Zane trapping himself in the fridge with a late night snack.

"We like the guy," I shove Kai, "Sounds like you don't." He shoves me back, "We like the guy, he's really smart. He's just, uh, a little off sometimes." Growing bored, I join Zane in training on the Training Bot while keeping an ear out on the others. "Zane is a brother and brothers are often different. I should know." I glance at Wu and back at Zane, who looked a little upset. "I'm guessing you heard all that," a nod. "I'm sorry buddy." I give him a hug and we continue to spar.

After about 30 minutes, I hear the gong bell go off signaling mail day! Jay, Kai, Cole and I sprint for the door meeting the tired old mailman. "Let's see, a letter from Jay's parents. Kai has a fan letter. Oh, something from Cole and Aurora's father." I stop my foot with my letter in hand, "No package? Cole and I are expecting something from Creatures, Beasts & Beyond." The man sighs and digs around in his box. With another sigh, he pulls out two boxes and hands them to us. "Yay! Clover's gonna love this. Thanks, mailman!" I grab Cole's hand and we run to the stables.

"Don't you think it's odd that Zane doesn't get anything on mail days?" I wondered out loud and heard Cole stop behind me. "Now that I think about it, yeah but what if he doesn't have any parents." I drop my head and feel bad, I shouldn't have said anything.

We reach the stables and open Rocky and Clover's doors. I open the package and show the special treat to her, "Rabbit and fish, Clover. Your favorite!" I drop them into her mouth and hug her snout. I rub her scales and give her a kiss, "I have to head up now but I'll come to see you before bed, I promise!" She makes a low growling sound and Cole and I head up to the monastery. "It's Zane's night to cook. I'm excited." I nod back at Cole, happily. "I'm excited too! I finally get to help someone who doesn't burn food!" Cole groans and pushes me, "At least I'm old enough to cook on my own!" I push him and run up the stairs, "Can't catch me!"

Zane and I made a lot of good food! To make thing better he was wearing the apron I made for him! It was pink and a bit frilly with the words ice ice baby on it, I heard it from a song. As we were setting out the last plate, a giant chicken or turkey, I was surprised when everyone started laughing out of nowhere. "What's so funny?" I looked at everyone individually and stopped on Nya since she was beginning to speak, "Zane, you're wearing a... Well, even I wouldn't wear that." I frowned and looked at the apron I made him. "You laugh because I take steps to ensure I am clean after cooking?" I felt tears prick my eyes as Cole and Kai cackle and snort. "No, we laugh because you came out wearing that ridiculous outfit."
