"Nice to meet you."
Storm grinned, showing his brilliant white teeth.
Shyly, I smiled back.
Then he disappeared as if he wasn't there in the first place.
I sat on my bed, trying to comprehend what just happened.
Why did he come? What was wrong with his eyes? Why were they glowing?
And the million dollar question...
Out of all the girls in the world, why me?
I turned off the light and climbed into bed.
The covers were cold from the absence of body heat.
The house was asleep, but my eyes were wide open.
When minutes ago I would argue that I wanted to go sleep and wake up next month, questions and unknown answers energized me now.
I kept thinking and thinking.
I rolled on each side when the other one got uncomfortable, kicked off the blanket and put it back on me, and flipped the pillow one too many times.
I traced random figures on the wall with my finger, the cold feeling on my index slightly distracting me.
I let my mind wander.
When I concentrated on what my fingers were doing, I almost slapped myself.
I was tracing in cursive over and over again the same word:
I resisted the urge to retrace it again, so I put my finger down and sighed quietly.
Why did he have such an effect on me?
I know this wasn't normal.
Usually, if I saw a hot guy, I would blush and then forget about him.
I was always so engrossed in studies and work.
But then Storm came.
No, he didn't come, he swam.
I wanted to slap myself for thinking that.
