I was sitting in class, more of a lecture hall, bored out my mind and I don't know what to do right now. I can't just leave and ditch the class since Bree's dad is paying for me, the least thing I could do is get a hundred percent in this class then get a job and pay him back, but that won't happen if I ditch this class. The school wouldn't even care if I leave not will I get the money back.

"Hey Ethan," a girl sat beside me and she's pretty. I gave her a slight smile before moving my attention back to the professor who was giving us lecture about pandora and shit. I would flirt but I don't like to lead on girls who I don't wanna associate with in the future.

"Leave Pauline." a guy hissed beside me and I glanced to the side. The professor doesn't even care if were listening or not. Welcome to university Ethan. I actually miss troubling teachers.

The girl beside me huffed before standing up and walking away, back to where she was seating before. How'd she know my name?

"Thanks man, I didn't really wanna entertain anyone right now," I told the guy and he nodded, glancing back to the girl.

"No problem dude, I just saved you from being a target of that slut, she's my friend's ex," he told me and my brows rose up. Shoot, good thing I didn't flirt with the girl.

"Well thanks again, I'm Ethan," I told him. I need to build my own crowd here and find new friends since I'm not always with Bree in campus, she's always with her boy toys.

"I know, every girl in here has been gossiping about you, even my girlfriend," I'm surprised by what he said and I chuckled. Wow, am I that popular? "I'm Tanner," he said and he reached out a hand which I shook firmly.

"Cool, nice to meet you Tanner," he doesn't know how happy I am inside to make a friend.

"You too, you're pretty popular after you made out with Janice," he told me and I had no idea who he was talking about. Janice? I don't remember making out with anyone except Breeanne.

"I don't remember making out with any girl," I said and his lips curled up, shaking his head as he turned his attention to the professor.

"Typical Janice, she made this rumour that she made out with you, it's all over the frat and campus," he informed me and I can't believe I am being talked behind my back. Not that I care, but if this Janice girl is hot, I don't mind it at all. "She's a bit psycho and I think you've flirted with her once, I saw you guys together," he said and I froze. That girl I was talking to by my car?! she is kinda psycho but hot, I don't want her anymore.

"That girl I've talked to? yeah I realized she's a bit cray," I said and Tanner laughed lightly, nodding. At least she's not spreading rumours that I slept with her.

"You tell me," he scoffed before the professor shot us a look to shut up. I pursed my lips and squirmed on my sit before turning my attention to the front of the room.

Bree

"So how was your date the other day?" Dace asked me as soon as I sat on the sit beside him and I quirk a brow, having no idea what he's talking about. He had this pissed off look on his face and I don't know why he looks jealous for no reason.

"Date?" I asked to clarify and he sighed, shaking his head.

"Don't play dumb Bree, just tell me straightforward if you're seeing someone else, I don't wanna be played." he told me and my brows rose up, seal long deeply. Does he know about what happened between me and Ethan?! I just stared at him and gave him a confused look. He couldn't know. "So are you seeing someone? Do you have a boyfriend cause I feel like I'm helping you cheat," he told me and I thought about it, shaking my head. Ethan is nothing but a friend with no strings attached, he's not my boyfriend.
