I'd had them since I was what..seven? But never as bad as that night...
After Marley's...parting, we decided it would be within our best intrest to get our asses out of there. But low and behold, the doors were locked. Not a soul in sight.
"Well great, guess we're in for a sleep over" Michaela scoffed, her tone synical. Nothing new. But she was unfortunatly right, so we took off our miscellanious jackets and made something resembling a blanket. Reuel closed and locked the window from which our friend had jumped, and we tried to sleep. I dont know how, but when I managed to drift off...I wish I'd never closed my eyes.I awoke in a dark stair well. The air was heavy, it smelled of rotting. I could scarcely breathe, but I got to my feet and began to walk. The further I walked, the stronger the stench of flesh grew. I knew who it was. "A-anna...?" The words had barely escaped my mouth when the screaming started. It was a sickening, blood curdling screech, a broken symphony of pain. I felt like screaming with it, but all that escaped my mouth was a stutter. I had to keep walking, had to find Anna. My feet were burning, I couldn't keep my eyes open..
I took another step. My heart was pounding. I felt something...an aura behind me,a presence. It pained me but I turned around, uttering the lost girls name. WHAM.
Something hit my head. There was something piercing my skin, I could the warmth of blood on my chest.
All I had seen before the impact was short brown hair....I awoke, near screaming, sweat pouring from my forehead.
