Chapter 14

"Remmy, please wake up. I need you I don't know what I would do without you"

Remus has been in a coma for a week the doctors say there's a chance he won't make it. Sirius knows he will wake up, he has to, right ?

"I'm going to stay with you no matter what I'm not leaving your side Rem"

"Hey Pads, how is he" James walked through the door with Lily.

Sirius didn't answer instead he hugged James and started sobbing. The moment his head touched his shoulder. James just held his best friend tighter fighting back the tears in his eyes. Lily took a seat on the other side of Remus' bed and held his hand is hers and started stroking it.

Sirius and James sat down after a couple minutes.

"You should really go home Sir..." Lily started

"No ! I'm not leaving him" Sirius raised his voice slightly

"Sirius mate you need some sleep you look dreadful at least sleep on the couch while me and Lily are here" James went on

"But, ok fine"

James moved along down the couch so Sirius could lay down. He laid with his head resting on James' lap he always thought he was quite comfortable.

It didn't take long for him to fall asleep after all he was exhausted. He was so lucky to have James and Lil in his life.

Remus' eyes started flicking open. James and Lily started at each other in shock.

"Sirius ! Sirius !" James whisper yelled shaking Sirius awake.

Sirius sat up straight away. He looked over at Remus who now had his eyes open, he started crying. He knew he wouldn't leave him.

"Remus"

"Sirius"

Sirius grabbed Remus hand and Remus squeezed it.

"I thought you were gone, I thought you had left me" Sirius cried harder

"Siri I couldn't leave you even if I wanted to"

"I love You Rem"

"I love you too"
