Chapter 18

A/N Thank you so much for 500 reads ! I told myself that when I reach 500 I will upload another chapter sorry if its crap I don't even remember the last time I wrote and I'm basing this off some sentences I saw on Pinterest so I'm making it up as I go.

"Go. Away." Remus said through gritted teeth

"Remus I'm so sorry I wasn't thinking I just wanted to scare Snivellus" Sirius was almost in tears

"I can't do this anymore just please leave me alone" and with that Remus walked out the common room.

Sirius slumped down onto the chair in front of the fire place next to Peter and Lily, James was sitting on the floor. Tears were forming in his eyes, he bit his lip trying to contain himself. Lily rested her hand on Sirius' thigh trying to comfort him.

"I messed up" Sirius whispered after a couple of minutes had passed.

Lily looked up at him with an apologetic look on her face, her hand still on his thigh. "Sirius It's going to be okay, his just going to take a while..."

"No !" Sirius yelled, startling a few people, Peter and Lily included. He stood up from the chair "You don't get it Lils ! I could have ruined Remus' life, If Dumbledore hadn't forced Snape not to tell anyone the whole school would know and I could have turned Remus into a murderer ! I messed up so bad and now he hates me and I deserve it" He walked up to the dorm room and layed in bed staring at the roof. He was tempted to find Remus to apologise again but he knew it wouldn't do any good it would just make Remus angrier so he decided against it.

One week has gone by and Remus still hadn't spoken a word to Sirius he would get up extra early to even avoid sitting with him at breakfast and for Lunch he would go to the library, and at dinner he would sit with Marlene and Dorcas and roll his eyes whenever he caught Sirius looking at him. He didn't even really talk to James and Peter only a couple words here and there. Sirius hated himself for what he had done.

Sirius decided to try and apologise again he knew it would backfire but he was desperate.

"Don't even think about it Black" Remus warned as he saw Sirius approaching it.

"Remus, babe..." Sirius started

"Don't call me that" Remus retaliated

"Look I'm so sorry I know I made a huge mistake and I hate myself so much, I know this doesn't excuse what I've done but I just wasn't thinking straight..."

"Obviously" Remus rolled his eyes.

"Let me finish" Sirius spoke soft "I miss you so much and I hate that you are ignoring me"

"What do you want me to do Sirius ! Want me to just forget anything happened and you didn't almost turn me into a murderer ? Want me to pretend like you didn't almost make my worst fear come true ? I trusted you Sirius and now I don't know if I can ever trust you again !" Remus yelled

Sirius burst into tears at Remus' words "I'm so sorry Rem"

"I heard you the first hundred times"

"Then you should know that I would never purposely hurt you" he said through sobs

"Look Sirius I just can't do this right now just please stay away from me"
