Chapter 2: Assume

"I'm sorry Xiel, you really have no choice" he stated as our eyes met.

I didn't say anything, instead I  just stared at his gorgeous dark blue eyes.

"What?" He asked confusingly as he realise that I was just staring at him.

"Are my eyes that beautiful?" He said in a low voice.

"Yes, actually because your eyes are gorgeous and beautiful, I wanna poke them out and keep them as a remembrance just incase you die" I casually said, then removed my bag and placed it beside the couch and wiped the blood on his arm.

"Your creepy but I'm certain that you don't want me to die yet" he said in an obvious tone.

"Why is that?" I asked.

"After you run towards me and hold me before I fall on the floor, it simply means that you don't want me to be hurt or literally die, and you are concerned about me." He explained.

"It doesn't mean that I don't want you to be hurt or die, and of course it doesn't mean that I'm concerned about you. It's just because that's what a normal person would do" I said.

"And your a normal person" he muttered.

I literally ignored him and everything he says and as soon as he noticed this he kept quiet.

After cleaning his arm and removing the blood covering his wound I realised
That obviously if the wound would heal it would definitely leave a scar.

"Your okay on having a scar right?" I asked.

"What makes you ask about it?" He ask in a concerned tone.

"Nothing, I'm just curious" I said.

"Actually, I'm not really a big fan of having scars" he frowned, it's obvious that he's upset.

"I Didn't know guys care about those kinds of things" I thought.

"Then I'm sorry, but this sure will leave a scar" I said as I pulled his sleeves up because it is getting on the way.

He groaned and I looked up at him.

"What?" He asked and I lightly shake my head.

"You arm needs to be stitched up." I muttered.

"There are no doctors around here, their probably all dead" he stated.

"Don't say that, I'm sure were not the only ones who survived, some people aren't that stupid or unlucky." I frowned.

"Well then if that's the case, would you take the risk of getting out there to find me a doctor to sew this tiny wound of mine?" He asked.

"Yes, I would take the risk" I muttered and he just looked at me with his impassive face.

"As long as I would never be able to see your face for even just a day, I'll absolutely take the risk" I said, being irritated by his stubbornness.

"You know, your really being mean and creepy since the first time we met" he said but I didn't pay much attention to it.

I grab the betadine and put some of it in his arm then I carefully wrapped it with a bandage.

"Thank you" he stated.

"So tell me what happened at the back of the building, about what happened to the old woman" he said.

I take a long deep breath and thought if I should tell him what happened. Maybe he'll just laugh or something.
