Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Zombie

Scream, It all started when I heard a scream from outside the grocery store. I was walking towards the exit after I paid for my groceries and put them all inside my backpack when I heard that scream, I'm sure it wasn't just a normal scream, It was a scream of pain and agony.

I turned to look at the glass door of the entrance opposite to me.

What I saw made my heart skip a beat.

There lies a woman in her own pool of blood and on top of her was a grown man in a lab gown that is drenched in dark red blood, his face was almost turning purple and he has a deep bite mark on his neck.

I watched him as he eagerly bite a chunk of the woman's neck again and again. It was a horrible sight but I'm surprised that was not able to throw up.

More people started to notice the bloody scene in the entrance, some backed away from the glass door and some made their way near the door especially the security guard aiming his gun at the bloody man.

I watched as the man in the lab gown moved away from the disfigured woman and run towards the entrance of the grocery store.

The people screamed and backed away from the glass door but it was too late, the man in lab gown swiftly pushed the door open and lunge at the security guard.

He fired his gun on the crazy man's stomach but he didn't budge, he just continued to attack the now helpless security guard.

I was shocked, it's impossible, that crazed man should be dead by now, but he isn't.

I watched as the two well built guys tried to pull the crazed person off the security guard but more zombie like people started to enter the grocery store and lunged at the shocked citizens.

I snapped out of my thoughts as the zombie like people massacred the people near the entrance.

I immediately followed my survival instincts and run towards the exit as fast as I can.

I pushed the door open and run towards my car but was stopped by a hand grabbing my arm.

I immediately turned around and saw another disfigured woman trying to bite me.

I immediately pulled my umbrella at the pocket of my bag and slapped the woman with it.

She stumbled backwards so I took it as a chance to run towards my car again.

Before I could open the door I was pushed away by a crowd of people scrambling away from the mess happening in the Thead Hospital almost maybe 50 meters away from the grocery store I was in.

I tried to move away from the bunch of people, pushing them out of the way.

After a few moments of struggling against the crowd, I have finally manage to escape.

I frantically looked around in case there is danger.

When I was sure that it's all clear I tried to find my car beyond all the panicking people.

After a few glances I finally saw my blue car in front of the grocery store.

I smiled in relief but my smile immediately disappeared as I realise that the crazed dudes have already encircled the whole grocery store and even my car.

I shrugged hopelessly and decided to run away from this big mess.

I looked around and saw some few people who entered the thick forest
Just beside the grocery store.

I entered the forest as well and run as far as I could away from the main road were the apocalypse occurred.

After a few minutes of running I finally made my way out of the forest, in a long road without any disfigured crazy freak roaming around.
