Thomas's POV

I can't not talk to him, I mean yea John's there that doesn't mean I can't try and befriend him right?

I had a free period and so did Alex. I knew exactly where to find him, the library and sure enough he was there looking peaceful reading his book. I took a breath and went up to him. I pulled a chair in opposite to him and sat down

Alexander's POV

I was sitting in the library reading a book I'll need for an essay when I heard someone sit down in front of me and looked up only to see Jefferson. I was surprised to see him but I also felt butterflies in my stomach, I don't know why tho

"Jefferson?"

"Hey"

He gave me an awkward wave and I noticed just how nervous he looked, he was as red as a lobster, he was slightly sweating and constantly shifting in his seat, he looked cute actually. Wait what? What am I saying Jefferson isn't 'cute' I mean he's really hot... Okay that's enough.

"Okay I came here for a reason, I need to talk to you"

Now I'm even more confused.

"About what? Is this some joke?"

"No it's not and I came here to apologize for everything I did over the years. I'm really sorry I acted like such an asshole to you. But I've changed and I understand if you don't forgive me but I am really, truly sorry"

He let out a shaky breath, I didn't believe him for a second.

"What sick joke is this? Are Madison and Burr around the corner huh?"

"It's really not"

"Okay so you mean to tell me THE Thomas Jefferson came to apologize to ME?"

"Yea..."

Okay no I'm not that naive, we're talking about Thomas Jefferson, the most popular guy on campus, the hottest guy... I seriously need to stop

"Well..."

I got up and searched the entire library in the matter of 5 minutes and sat back down.

"I couldn't find them and you seem genuine so I guess I believe you..."

"That's a relief"

He smiled and wow... His smile is beautiful I mean not as beautiful as his eyes, his deep brown eyes that you could so easily get lost in... I really need to stop this...

"Friends?"

"Okay slow down buddy, why did you apologize?"

"I realized what a jerk I was and people change"

That seems so familiar...
