Spy School- At The End

Debriefing

So here is chapter 3. I know I said that I'd post on Monday but I had a lot of homework so I had to post now. Sorry! Today's Dedication is for Awesomeness20506 for his help in choosing my next story. Here is chapter 3.  

Dorm Room

Armistead Dormitory

March 9

0500 hours

The eight of us had taken off from spy school at exactly 0445 hours, so, fifteen minutes after leaving, we were crawling along through Washington traffic in a black sedan that was barely big enough to hold all of us. Zoe and Mike sat in the back, Cyrus and Catherine sat in the front and the rest of us - me, Erica, Jawa, and Alexander in the middle. Why the CIA couldn't procure a minivan was beyond my knowledge.

Last night, in the dorm we (all the kids excluding Erica) had all gathered in Jawa's room to look at the documents together even though it specified us being alone when we opened it. The first page, as always, had only one line: Destroy these document's immediately after reading. 

The next pages had much more content. They specified that the CIA had confirmed some Russian chatter about SPYDER's newest plot line. Apparently, there were reports of people going mad and dying by unknown causes in western Russia in the town of Khabarovsk. It looked like SPYDER had created some sort of chemical or drug that messed with people's minds. And lucky us, we had to stop it.

An hour and a half later, we had arrived at the Ronald Reagen National airport. (Yes this place actually exists, I searched it up.) I was surprised. Usually, Washington traffic was much slower. I wouldn't have been surprised if it took us 3 and a half hour to get there. Once there, we boarded a private jet, (seriously, the CIA can give us a luxury jet but not a minivan?) and took off for Russia.

Exactly 3 hours and 17 minutes later, I woke up to the nap I had started immediately after getting on the plane. Surprisingly, I found Erica sleeping on my shoulder. Naturally, I didn't interrupt her. I thought about making a video for blackmail purposes but quickly decided against it. She would probably hack into my phone and destroy its contents and then smash the phone with a mallet while I was asleep.  Only to severely hurt me the next morning.

I didn't know how it happened. Maybe she could just sense me looking at her, but suddenly Erica was up, and she had a troubled look on her face.

''What is it?'' asked her. If Erica was even slightly concerned, then I knew that I should be praying for my life.

''I hear a helicopter. she answered. And it's coming toward us.

At that moment there was a loud suction sound and a few whirs and clanks. Erica, Cyrus, and Catherine were all suddenly running for the one door and taking up position. I was merely slumped in my seat staring at them with a very confused look on my face.

''Uh, what's happening?''

Cyrus cursed and yelled at me. ''Haven't you learned anything about the Midair Docking System?!'' 

In my defense, all vehicles are covered in the fifth year at spy school.

Quite abruptly, the door blew off, knocking Cyrus, Erica, and Catherine of their feet. Erica, being smaller, managed to turn the fall into a backflip and came up standing, though she immediately got hit with a sedation dart, which laid her out on the floor for good. Catherine and Cyrus, however, weren't as lucky. They hit the floor hard and passed out cold. At this point, I registered three things. One, the air pressure wasn't dropping, which meant that there was another aircraft latched onto the plane. Second, our three best fighters were now unconscious. 

So there's chapter 3. Next chapter: hopefully Saturday. Remember, I still want your thoughts on whether I should do a Percy Jackso truth or dare or a Percy Jackson and Hunger Games crossover. (I'm a big Percy Jackson fan. Percabeth=awesome.) Also, I'm going to start doing two dedications because a lot of people are giving me tips.
