Ackerman Theory

Ok, so this is a theory I've been thinking about since chapter 112.
It may be disproved later but I still want to mention it.
Oh, and by the way, I've written about this on Quora before so if you happen to find it, don't tell me that I stole it or something.

The theory is that Ackermans carry a form of a cure for the Eldians in their blood and that this could be used to turn titans back into humans and maybe even to eradicate the 9 titans all together.

The first thing that started to get me to think this was the fact that people seemed to be unsure on whether an Ackerman could turn into a titan. There's hints that the Ackermans are special in more ways than one.

I doubt Isayama would throw in these parts for no reason. There is most likely something stopping Ackermans from turning into titans.
This seems to be confirmed at the end of chapter 112 when Levi doesn't turn into a titan after hearing Zeke's scream.

Of course, there's the possibility that Levi just never had any of the wine from Marley but what are the chances?
The Ackermans are an Eldian race, and even if their family wasn't Eldian, Levi most likely carries Eldian blood and some of Mikasa's grandparents would have been Eldian since I doubt they were inbreeding for 100 years.
Therefore, this means that Ackermans have Eldian blood but can't be turned into titans.
Eren gives us an idea of why this may be in chapter 112 (yes, just before he breaks all our hearts).

Although I think we should take Eren's words with a pinch of salt, it's important to remember that he, or Zeke, could have retrieved memories from the past 2000 years, allowing them to access this information.
If the Ackermans were created from some kind of experiment with titan science, that means that the experiment stopped them from turning into titans whilst still being able to access titan powers. Basically, they are Eldians but they won't become mindless when using titan powers and they aren't affected by Ymir's curse like titan shifters.
This raises the question on what would happen if someone possessing one of the 9 titans was turned into an Ackerman.
Perhaps the purpose of the Ackerman family wasn't to protect the Royal family but to oppose it. We already know that the Ackermans never liked the Reiss family within the walls. Perhaps the Ackermans blood carries the the tools to fight against Ymir Fritz' soul. If whatever makes a person an Ackerman can be extracted or done to other people, then it could perhaps turn titans back into humans and destroy Ymir Fritz' soul.
I think, if this theory is true, it would completely solve most of the current problems in the manga. Snk has created so much moral ambiguity - the Eldians would be dangerous if left alone but Marley treats them badly - if Eldians could no longer turn into titans, this would no longer give Marley a reason to contain them.

Perhaps the Founding Titan will help spread the cure to all Eldians, as we discovered that it could alter the bodies of all Eldians. However, I don't know if Eren will be happy to loose his power. Oh well, this theory could be complete nonesense but it's still interesting to think about, in my opinion.
