Top 10 songs in AOT

In this chapter, I'm going to rank my favourite songs from AoT.

10. Reluctant Heroes

The best part of this song is about 1 minute in.  I love this song because it sounds great but also reminds me of Levi.

9. Red Swan

Red Swan is probably the most hated opening, and although I don't like it as much as the other openings, I still think it's a great song.

8. Armoured Titan theme

Sorry if I got the name of this song wrong - I see it named so many different things. I love this song because it plays whenever something really interesting or dramatic happens in the anime.

7. Akatsuki no Requiem

I definitely prefer this to the season 3 opening. It's probably the only ending that I like more than that arc's opening.

6. Guren no Yumiya

This is probably the most iconic song in attack on titan since it's the first opening. I love how chaotic it is since it perfectly reflects the first arc. Every time I listen to this with my friends, we scream "YEAGER!!!".

5. Barricades

I was debating whether this song should be 5th or 6th but I decided to put it 5th since it has a nice, nostalgic feel to it. I think they'll probably play this as they're returning to Shiganshina in the anime.

4. Flügel der Freiheit

This opening sounds so epic and I really love it. I also love the video for it, especially the way the credits are part of the video and I think it looks really cool when it zooms into the manoeuvre gear.

3. Shinzou wo Sasageyo

Of course, this opening had to be on this list since it's such an iconic one. I love how dramatic it is and I generally think that it is the best attack on titan opening so far.

2. Call of Silence

This song is so emotional and some of the lyrics (to me) sound like they're of Ymir talking to Historia, which only makes the song sound more sad. I love this song and I know all the lyrics well.

I love this song since it sounds so nostalgic and it's linked to Levi's backstory. It also gives a warm feeling and the tune is calm but it can also be quite catchy. I often find myself singing or humming it.

Edit: I have to give some credit to opening 5, now that it's out. It's a perfect mish mash of the first 3 openings plus Akatsuki no Requiem. Although most people seem to dislike it and it is packed with spoilers, I personally love it. For me, it is either tied with or about Shinzo wo Sayageyo.
