We're too far away (koova)

James was in the middle of playing Minecraft when a familiar ‘ping’ broke his concentration.  With a frown he looked at the corner of his screen. It was 8:30 at night, who could it be? He minimized the game and when he looked at Skype, a grin spread from ear to ear. He answered the video call eagerly. “Hey Jordan!”

“Someone is excited to see me, huh?”

Jordan smiled as well, very happy to see that his boyfriend was excited to talk. Granted they normally did this every other day, (and this was two days in a row now) it was nice to see that James was still that excited to talk. He smiled softly and very fondly at the dark haired older man. “I thought you were busy all day today?” James asked him, brow furrowed. Jordan shrugged with a coy smile. “I’m sick” replied Jordan forcing out a cough that sounded very fake. James just chuckled, sitting back in his computer chair. He watched Jordan for a minute before sighing wistfully.

“I just wish we could meet in person. We’ve been together six months now and I haven’t gotten to kiss you, to hug you or even to touch you. I miss you and I’ve never even met you. Yes I know we’ve technically met but….I want to be able to miss your touch and to smell you on my sheets in the morning.”

Jordan’s smile turned sad as James spoke. He ran a hand through his short brown hair. What James had expressed was the same exact thing he felt as well. “I know James. I want the same things. I would love to watch your eyes light up as I tell you how much I care about you. Every day I think about you I grin like an idiot. The very thought of you makes my heart beat faster...” Jordan took a deep breath before continuing in a soft voice. “I want to hug you when you’re sad. I know in my heart that we will meet someday soon and when we do, I’ll never let you go. Please though, until then can we please cheer up? We have this conversation every time we talk. Now….how was your day?” he asked, trying to steer the conversation away from the one thing they both hated- the distance between them.

James snorted in amusement, trying not to show Jordan how sad he was, how much he ached for something (someone) he hasn’t gotten the chance to truly have. The smile on Jordan’s face soon swayed him, however, and soon his eyes and lips reflected his happiness and love for Jordan. “My fucking day was far too god damn long. First my headphones break on me, and then all the parts of the game I recorded somehow got fucking deleted! So my day sucked dick.” Jordan stifled a giggle as his boyfriend became more animated, tossing his hands about like a spaz. James’ brown eyes narrowed when he realized Jordan was laughing.

James smiled deviously and Jordan gulped. He knew that look was never good, especially on James’ face. James bit his lip, teasingly stroking his semi-hard member. He grabbed the webcam, angling it down just a bit so that Jordan could see what he was doing. A low groan from Jordan made him harden instantly. He continued to stroke himself slowly, getting closer and closer to bliss. When he heard a weak “James”, he stopped and moved the camera back up to his face as he grinned “innocently”. Jordan looked entranced but as the camera panned up, he just looked surprised. James took his silence as the perfect time to speak. “See if you were here you could help me finish. Well Jordan, goodnight! I love you” he said, taking the time to make sure Jordan knew how much that was through those three little words. He shut off the computer and moved to his bed to finish what he’d started as he remembered the soft noises Jordan had been making.

Jordan continued to stare at his screen, still in shock. It wasn’t like they hadn’t done that before, but normally they both finished. Jordan just sighed, shaking his head. “I love you too James, more than you could possibly know.” With a smile, he went to bed, dreaming of the day he would finally meet the love of his life.
