Chapter 17

9:12 AM

I woke up feeling really dizzy and cold. It took me two minutes to understand where I was and what was I doing there.

I was in a medical ward, because I donated blood for Kayden. I didn't remember how I fell asleep and what happened afterwards.

I immediately stood up, slipped my feet in slippers, washed my face and left the room.

I quickly found the room were Kayden was resting. There were some people outside, waiting for her. I recognized some of the teachers, students and Kaydens parents. When they saw me, they quickly stood up.

- oh, Brianna! - said Kayden's mother and came closer to hug me, - thank you so much! - she gasped, I hugged her back and hummed.

- She's alright, yeah? - I asked.

- yes, honey! - she answered and smiled, - you saved her.

- no... - I chuckled nervously, - It was all Yoongi and Kayden herself, - I blurted out and I saw how her eyes darkened after hearing his name.

- well, nevertheless, she's stable now, - said Kayden's father, trying to clear out the tension.

- I'm really glad to hear that, - I said and smiled.

- some of your friends are downstairs in the cafeteria, go ahead and join the breakfast. - offered me Kayden's mother and I hummed.

I was happy Kayden survived and that I kind of helped her with it. I know, she disappointed me a lot in the past but I understood how frustrated she was. I would never ever approve her behavior tho.

I opened the cafeteria door and saw the table surrounded by Erica, Ally, Hoseok, Taehyung, Antonio and Luca. They smiled when noticing my figure.

- Here comes the hero of the day, - cheered Hoseok and everyone giggled.

- hey guys, glad you're here, - I sat down and sighed.

- I wish I were there for you when they were drawing blood, - said Ally with a sad expression and petted my hand.

- yeah but she wasn't alone anyways, - said Taehyung and after seeing everyone's unaware expression, he added. - I visited you this morning and Yoongi was sleeping right beside your bed holding your hand.

I blushed crazy hard and everyone else wooed, making me embarrassed.

- you guys are getting so close, - whispered Ally in my ear.

- I don't know... - I sighed, - he's acting weird and I'm honestly frustrated.

- tell me everything after things settle, okay? - said Ally and gave me a warm smile.

- sure, - I replied, - but where's he anyway?

- he looked really tired and we sent him to our hotel room to get changed and have some rest. - said Ally quietly.

- okay, that's good. - I replied and smiled.

1:15 PM

It was Sunday, meaning we had school tomorrow and teachers made us go back to the college. We didn't oppose much and after some time, we left Portland.

I was so exhausted from everything that I slept the entire ride. When we arrived, a lot of people approached us with their questions and weird gossips that they heard about last night, but non of us felt like answering any of them and quickly walked to our dorm rooms.

As my room was completely destroyed, girls offered me to stay with them and I was laying on their bed, trying to get some rest.

I never had such a dramatic life and always thought to myself that I needed some drama to entertain me. However, now that so many things happen in my life, I wish everything would go back to normal...
