CHAPTER 1: strange feelings from a stranger

Jean's POV

"Jean, can you be our representative for Ms. Watty princess?"- asked by my classmate Rose

"no"- sabi ko naman

"please sissy, you're the only one we know that is qualified for the contest and for sure, we going to win it!"- my best friend Cathy said

-yeah right!, I'm Jean Ramos and I was known as Ms. Campus Perfect in our Campus because I had the brain, the beauty and talents and we would surely win the contest. I was not bragging, I was just stating the fact, but when it comes to my attitudes…let's not talk about it. They said that I'm a snobbish  person and a man hater but the truth was, I just didn't like to talk a lot and boys were just so annoying.

-After that futile conversation, we went inside the classroom and sited. If you would ask what happened regarding the contest, well, I really had no interest.

"good morning class!"-said our adviser Ms. Anne

"good morning Ma'am"-we said

"Please, take your sit, I'm with your new classmate, Mr. Criss Erinni. He came from Baguio City and be nice to him. Please come in Mr. Erinni"- said Ms. Anne.

-nung pumasok sya, nagsitilian ung mga babae na parang walang bukas, except me.

"OH MY! I SAW AN ANGEL!"

"YOUR'E SO HANDSOME!"

" BE MINE!"

" OMG! MARRY ME NOW!"

-oh crap, how can they say those such pathetic words. They were so noisy and annoying. I looked to the guy in front and saw him, a drop-dead gorgeous man but definitely not my type.

" Alright, I want Ms. Ramos to teach Mr. Erinni our past lessons, is it ok Ms. Ramos?" -My teacher said and I was like, duh! She wanted me to teach him? Pero wala naman akong magagawa.

"k"-I answered

"OK then Mr. Erinni, you may sit beside Ms. Ramos"-ma'am Anne said then he went beside me and sitted

" hi! ^_^, nice meeting you, I'm Criss Erinni and yours?"-he said

So annoying

"I'm the daugther of my father and my mother"-I answered

"I mean your name. what's your name?" he asked.

·         I just ignored him. One of the personalities I hated was being so talkative.

"oh, I see, you don't have a name"-sabi nya, then nakinig na lang sya sa discussion.

NEXT DAY………………

"sissy"-Cathy called me

"what?-_____-"-I said in my boring voice

"Nicki, together with her witch friend were looking for you"-Cathy replied

"for what?"-I asked

"for-----"

"hey you freak!"-a girl's voice interrupted.

-I looked at the girl and there I saw Nicki Aurollio with her friend, Coreen Castillo.

"What do you want?"- I said in a monotone voice

" don't talk to me like that bitch, especially now that I know that you're afraid of me, "she said smilingly

I smirked and said, “afraid? Why should I?”

" I heard that they can't convince you to join in Miss Watty princess, is it because you're afraid that I might beat you?"-nicki said teasingly

I smiled, "dream on, girl!"

"then, wy don't you try to join?"-Coreen said

"are you daring me?" - asked

"What if I say yes?"-Nicki asked

"then, I'll join,"-after that I went inside our room and the discussion began.

-yes, it was already class dismissal, but I remembered that I need to go to the library because of that annoying jerk, I forgot his name, but I don't care. Oh, by the way, I was with Seph, my only guy friend, he's my childhood friend.

"Oh, good thing you're here!"-he said

"Seph, you may now go"-I said to Seph ignoring whatever he was. Then Seph walked away.

" who's that? And why are you late?"-asked him

" it's none of your business,"-I answered

-we went to the vacant table and began to scan my notes. I explained our past lessons but I noticed that he kept on staring at me. I looked at him.

“Is there dirt on my face?"-I asked and then he looked away.

"u-uhm… n-none"- he answered

I smirked and said, "why are you stammering? Do you have a tongue defect?"

“damn, she's gorgeous!"-I heard him whispered

"thank you! ^_^"- I said with a smile on my face.

O_O- his reaction. Looks like he was shocked!

-seconds. Minutes, hours, days, weeks, and month had passed, I already taught all our past lessons and we became closer to each other.

*fast forward*

****CONTEST DAY******

"tonight is a special night because we will witness the most beautiful faces here in the campus"-Mariah said, she's the emcee

"let's begin"- marc said, the other emcee

~~~~AT THE BACKSTAGE~~~

"Hey freak! Are you nervous? Are you expecting to win this contest?" - said Nicki

-I'm a little bit nervous, but I won't allow them, I don't want to lose.

" oh, girl, don't be assuming, as if you will win?!" -a said

" how dare you said that?"- she said, irritably

" are you already pissed off?"-I said

-she will going to slap me but…..

" don't ever touch my princess face"-a man's voice said…

-I saw Cris holding the arm of Nicki trying to stop her arms to slap me.

-nicki, walked out pissingly…..

-now, only the two of us was in the backstage… others our preparing very well…

"you looked beautiful tonight my princess"- he said with a sweet voice…

"thank you, but stop calling me princess"-I said while my head was bowed because I think I'm blushing. My heart began to beat faster and it was like there were butterflies in my stomach. What the hell was happening to me?

-the contest went on and my nervousness lessen knowing that he's beside me.

" and the winner is…… MISS JEAN RAMOS!!"-announced by Daniel

AFTER THE CONTEST………………..

"Jean" -criss called me

"why?"- asked

"uhm..n-nothing, congratulations"- he said

"thanks!"-I answered then I turned back to him
