~No one's POV~
Dylan and Ichigo were on their way home after another day of school or as Ichigo calls it 'Hell of earth'.
Dylan: So Ichigo got into any fights today?
Ichigo: Okay I got into 1 fight but they started in because they wanted me to dye my hair black
Dylan: So are we going to the memorial of that little girl to replace the flowers?
~Short timeskip~
Ichigo: There that should do it
Then all of the sudden he and Dylan heard an explosion, but when they turned around they saw a monster with a white mask attacking a building.
Dylan: What is that thing?
As people ran past them they saw the little ghost girl running away from the monster.
Ichigo: Dylan looks like it is after the girl
Dylan sped towards the girl at high speeds and got her out of there.
Dylan: Here take her
He handed the ghost girl to Ichigo that is when they turned around to run but Dylan heard something. He turned back to see a baby crying on the ground with a woman lying limp on the ground under a metal beam from the falling building.
Dylan: Ichigo there is a baby back there I'm going to save it
He then ran towards the baby dodging all falling parts of the building.
Ichigo: Dylan be careful
Dylan the reached the baby and picked it up as the woman head moved to look into Dylan's eyes.
Dying woman: Please get my baby to safety
Dylan nodded his head and ran back towards Ichigo dodging more falling part of the building.
Ichigo: Lets get out of here
Just then a girl in black robes ran passed them then disappeared as the building completely fell.
~Timeskip~
Yuzu: Dylan, Ichigo are you both okay?
The two boys came through the door Dylan still with the baby in his arms.
Karin: Dylan what is with the baby?
Dylan looked down at the little baby in his arms with sadness.
Dylan: She lost his mother in a collapsing building today but I rescued her
He gave the baby to his uncle.
Isshin: I'll give her a cheek up to see if she is all right nice work Dylan you may have just saved a life
Then he disappeared behind the doors to the clinic so he could run some test to see if the baby was fine.
~Small timeskip~
Dylan had been silent for quite awhile and it was starting to worry Yuzu and Karin they've never seen Dylan like this before. That is when Isshin came back with the sleeping baby girl in his arms.
Yuzu: How is she?
Isshin: She's fine but both of her parents are dead she is an orphan
Dylan got up and took her from Isshin's arms which he didn't stop, Dylan took the girl to the couch where he was sitting alone.
Isshin: Her given name is Melody
Dylan: Does she have any family left?
Isshin: Yes her grandfather on her mothers side he lives here
