I woke up with a binding headache. Sun rays seemed to penetrate through my eyes, making me blink incessantly. I groaned as I tried to sit from my previous uncomfortable position. I was still on my branch and my left elbow was much better than yesterday. I sighed. I could not believe that I slept in for a whole day; it just proved how tired I was.

I began climbing down and I could even use my left arm. I felt so much better already, and I lazily watched the scenery. Even though it was eerily silent, I rejoiced the calmness of my surrounding. After the incident of the beast yesterday, I felt more cautious with my movements. I decided to go to the lake and I felt apprehensive of what was I going to see there. What could possibly be there? A giant vulture, maybe...

So imagine my relief when I realised that there was nothing in sight. It was not until I reached the bank and saw the surface of the water shimmering that I became conscious of how thirsty I was. I kneeled down slowly, plunged my hands slowly in and cupped the water to bring it to my lips. I exhaled in satisfaction as I plunged my hands again to splash water on my face. I hoped that my hunger will be satisfied too as I was too anxious to eat something in here.

Suddenly, I heard a swishing motion, as if something moved very quickly. I turned around and my eyes scanned the area, searching for a potential mistake that would give away the location of the mysterious 'thing' here. Crack! It was enough for me to locate the intruder, who was hiding behind a tree and I went to this direction, using my hands in front of me as some kind of defence mechanism.

I knew for some reason that it was not one of those dangerous creatures that I saw the day before because of the swishing motion. Then it would not have taken the idea of hiding when it could have easily taken me down.

However, when I looked at who was hiding behind the tree, my mouth opened in shock and my eyes widened. Before me stood a young man, around my age, maybe even older, whose eyes widened when he saw me. I never imagined that there was another human in here. His brown hair was messy and his piercing blue eyes got me almost transfixed. He was wearing a dark green shirt, jeans and a pair of blue shoes. He was also wearing a military green jacket that gave him a look of authority.

He cleared his throat. "Um, could you stop looking at me like that? I'm quite uncomfortable."

I didn't know why but I blushed. I looked down, hoping that he wouldn't see but I was wrong.

"So, I got you blushing. My, my, I must look strikingly handsome, then?" He smirked.

I scowled; he was so full of himself! I was about to go when he greatly surprised me by saying:

"So, you're a Poseedee, right?"

That seriously clicked something in me. And before I knew what I was doing, the boy got plastered on the tree, his hands immediately went to his throat and trying to remove whatever was suffocating him. It was a déjà-vu scene, but I didn't care.

I looked up at him in anger. "How do you know who I am?!" I growled menacingly.

He was struggling and his face quickly went from pale to a bright red colour. Although I was a bit anxious at how he could possibly know because of our secret existence, I was very keen to know more. I released my grip and he thumped on the ground, coughing loudly. He regained his natural pale colour and breathed quicker.

I expected him to be angry, to shout at me, to even attack me, but he remained still. More unbelievingly, he started to chuckle lightly. It took me completely by surprise and I narrowed my eyes, my face covered with confusion. I crossed my arms and huffed lightly. When he stopped laughing, he smirked at me and raised his arm at me.
