Showing Your True Colours

Dan and Zoey were behind the culprits that caught Chris, Ryan and Austin. They were close on their tail but not close enough for the evil guys to notice. "So what's the plan?" Dan asked Zoey,  "umm I don't have one..." Zoey answered a little embarrassed.
"You don't have a plan?!"
"No, but I'll think of one before we get there trust me!"
While they were arguing about plans they forgot about about the culprits and quickly looked their way to see if they were still there, and, well with all their efforts, they tried hard but,
They were still there (bet you thought they were gone lol)
The culprits started sailing into a small cave and stopped their boat. Dan and Zoey stopped their raft close to the cave but not quite inside,  and as quiet as a mouse they started swimming into the cave. When they did they saw Ryan,  Chris and Austin in a large cage. "So what are we gonna do with them Jeff?" One of the culprits questioned. "We wait for a while, then we kill them." Said the other culprit. "I don't know Jake, isn't that a little cruel?" This so called culprit named Jeff said.
"I don't care." Jake said. Zoey and Dan managed to run in while they were having this conversation and hid behind a large chest they had. "I still don't have a plan." Zoey said.  "WHAT?!"  Dan whisper screamed. "But we DO need to get them out of that cage though." Zoey said. "Yeah no Shit Sherlock." Dan said a little annoyed.
"Do you have a better plan?" Zoey said.
"Yeah." Dan said smuggling
"What is it?"
"We just get jump out and fight them."
"That's a horrible plan!"
"That's a horrible plan. Hey I'm Zoey and I think I'm sooo good at planing!"
"I don't sound like that!"
"Whatever, you got a better plan?"
"I don't even have one so fine."
"Wait.. " Dan said as he quietly opened the chest he was hiding behind.
"Good idea!" Zoey said as she reached in to get a weapon as well.
"What! A green sword? That's all? Ugh I hate swords I only like heavy weapons like clubs and sticks!" Dan said obviously annoyed. "I guess I'll use it now and give it to Chris he loves these things."
"Whoa! A crossbow! With arrows! These guys have pretty good loot!" Zoey said as she picked up a large silver crossbow. Dan knocked on the side of the chest to attract the attention of the enemies, one of them came over came to check it out and Dan bursted out and punched his face and swung his sword as Zoey shot an arrow at the other one holding the crystal stick in his hand, in the arm causing him to drop the stick. Zoey then ran over and grabbed a close by chair that seemed to be made of wood and smacked the guy across the face with it. The guy fell to the ground in pain,  as for Dan he was dodging all punches left and right front the enemy, Dan kicked the enemy in the stomach causing him to bend over then threw him to the direction Zoey was in. Zoey hit the guy in his face with her knee. The guy fell down to the ground, but the two weren't done yet. Zoey picked him up and threw him at Dan's direction, Dan hit him with a hay make and grabbed him by the shirt and pierced the sword through his torso. The guy vanished to dust and all his armour and loot dropped to the ground. The other enemy, however took this opportunity to try and whack Dan over the head with his crystal stick. Zoey saw this and ran over to him, "Not this time." Zoey said to herself as she ran over and grabbed the guy's arm as it came down to hit Dan over the head. She twisted at and threw his arm over her head followed by the evil culprit. "Go Zoey!" Ryan cheered from the cage he was in. Zoey put her foot on the stomach of the guy and pointed a crossbow at his face. "You keep him there, I'll go free the guys." Dan suggested. Zoey nodded as she kept her eye on the guy on the ground. Dan picked up an arrow that was shot by the crossbow that now apparently Zoey owned. Dan used the tip of the arrow to pick the lock. Dan then sliced the guys free with the sword he had. Once they guys we're free they thanked Dan and ran over to Zoey. "That was bad ass!" Austin said to Zoey. "Thanks!" Zoey said proudly. "What are we gonna so with this guy?" Chris asked. "I'm not sure." Dan replied, "I mean your usually the one giving orders, and so far it's take us pretty far!"
Chris liked the sound of that, he was much more of a "talker" Than a "Walker".
" We should make him tell us why he kidnapped us!" Chris said.
"Good idea!" Zoey said. "But how?"
"Ding!" Austin said out loud as he ran over to get something, he came back with the rope that they were tied up with. Ryan got the idea and helped him tie up the culprit. "What's your name!" Dan yelled at the guy. "Jake." He answered. "But that's all I'm going to say!". " Oh is that so?" Zoey said in a devilish tone as she snapped and said  "Boys!" Austin and Chris came over and grabbed him by the legs each and walked over to the water.
Zoey grabbed a chair and crossed her legs with an even more devilish smirk on her face.
"Last chance hon.." Zoey said as she looked over at the helpless individual.
"Go to hell!" Jake responded angrily.
Zoey snapped and Austin and Chris put his head under the water. Zoey waited for about thirty seconds and said. "Okay that's enough."
Chris and Austin pulled out Jake whom was panting and coughing out water.
Zoey was usually a nice and calm girl but when people messed with her friends she would instantly turn into a pimp, a gang leader and sometimes when she REALLY mad, a spawn from Satan.

"Had enough?" Zoey said.
Jake was still coughing and couldn't talk at all.
"I don't think so. Drop him again."
Chris and Austin were too scared to do anything else so they obliged.

As for Ryan and Dan they just stayed a safe distance away and tried not to get in her way.
This time Zoey waited even longer!
"I think we should pull him out." Austin suggested bravely.
"Ok." Zoey said as the guys pulled out Jake and threw him on the hard ground. Zoey came over to where Jake was and grabbed her crossbow and crouched down next to him.
"Listen up asshole." Zoey said in a hard and serious voice. Zoey aimed her crossbow at Jake's head. "You're gonna tell me why you kidnapped my friends."
"I was gonna get all of you! But you two got away I was doing it for a guy, he wanted all of you for some reason. He called him self "Hackerman" Which is a pretty stupid name if you ask me but he promised me ten thousand gold coins if I did!" Jake said.
"That's an interesting story and all." Zoey said to Jake "But listen here if you want to keep your short and pathetic life your gonna listen to these steps. First we're gonna take what we want and break what we want then your gonna tell this Hackerman fella that if he has enough balls to take us on and he is free to do so got that?"
"And if I don't do that?" Jake said smuggling to Zoey
"Then I guess I'll be seeing you in hell won't I?" Zoey replied.
Jake just nodded as everybody started walking around taking what they thought would be useful as Zoey kept an eye on Jake. "Ok I'm done! These armour and materials are gonna be real useful!" Austin said.
"Same here!" Dan said as he looked at his new weapon the crystal stick.
"Me too! This sword is really shiny and sharp! You want anything Zoey?" Chris asked. "No the crossbow is good." Zoey answered.
"Okay.." Chris answered as he picked up an arrow and used his knee to break it, he is took the sharp end and started rubbing it on a stone next to a leaf. Eventually there was a spark and the leaf started setting on fire. Chris grabbed more leaves and made a path of leaves, the fire followed the trail and Jake's base started burning. Chris just looked at it and started laughing hysterically.
"Woah, is he okay?" Ryan asked
"Yeah he is." Zoey said
"Some people just want to watch the world burn." Austin said.
"And he's one of them." Dan continued.
"Probably because of the incident with his mom" Dan whispered to Ryan.
"What happened?" Ryan asked.
"Well everyone thinks that it was a fire that killed her mom, and it was. But what most people don't know is how the fire started. Only Zoey, Austin and I know.

"So how did it start?"
"Well, the thing is that Chris' mom was a single mother."
"Oh really?"
"She had depression. But she hid it."
"So she... "
"Not she didn't set her house on fire."
"Then who?"
Dan pointed at Chris who now just smiling at the flames and listening to the screams of sadness Jake was screaming. He just listened to it as if it was music.

"But why?" Ryan said.
"Well." Dan continued "She hung her self."
Ryan was shocked. "And then?"
"Chris got home and saw her."
"Wow."
"Chris went to his base ment and grabbed some gasoline and"
"Burned it."
"Yep and he keeps lying to himself that it wasn't his fault every night but I guess this just triggered his mind."
"Hm." Ryan said as he looked at Chris.

"Okay let's bounce." Chris said
Everyone got into a raft except Chris.
"Chris?" Dan asked, concerned.  Chris went over to Jake who was still tied up and picked him up. The guys thought that Chris was going to untie him so they left him alone.
Chris then did something nobody expected.
He threw Jake into the fire.
Everyone except Chris was so shocked they couldn't say anything.
Chris listened the screams of agony and pain from Jake as he said "Music to my ears."
