"God you're so fucking stupid! Why cant you think for once!"Tommy's loud voice emptied out the hollow room as I attempt to put on my best acting skills, going along with the plan.
Any moment now, Sara and Iris will definitely come in.
Finally, after our moment, with only a few sparing moments to go over our plan, we began to act it out. Tommy now stood almost across the other side of the room, staring at me while I stood on the other sides
Tommy's gaze on me hardens on me and I swallow a gulp forming in my throat. I couldn't tell if it's real. Was it because of the moment we just had that I denied him? Or was it apart of the act? Surely he wouldn't be upset over it, right?
"Don't fucking yell at me, what's your problem!" I yell back at him, matching his loud angry tone. He clenches his jaw and closes his eyes briefly before snapping them open.
"My problem is that you're incompetent and a moron! Jesus! Why did I have to be locked up with you?"
I wasn't sure why I reacted to that but I flinch back at his words. Why was I getting soft. I knew it was a fake act, just so that we could convince Sara and Iris. But it seemed to affect me as I look taken aback.
Suddenly, the sound of the door unlocking snaps me out of my thoughts causing sudden anxiety to rise though me.
You got this Grace.
Taking a deep breath, I release the held anger as I channel my emotions on the words. "I fucking hate you Tommy! I hate you"
"What's going on here!" Iris shouts as we both turn around to see Sara staring at me with such hatred in her eyes as Iris stares at Tommy. Our food trays were on the floor behind them and I hadn't realised how hungry I was until I saw it.
"Tommy's a fucking dick! That's the problem!" I shout back inwardly holding back my sharp tongue to beat both of them up. Iris glances at me before Sara stares at me wide eye. Before I knew it, Sara marches right over to me before slapping me, her palm connecting with my cheek as the sound echoes.
Pain stretches out onto my face as I stumble back, gripping onto my cheek as tears blur my vision. I whip my head back at her, glaring ignoring the pain that was left.
"Don't talk about him like that" she spits out at me before glancing back at Tommy and her gaze immediately softens as she walks over to him before slipping her hand in his. Tommy's face shrugs into an almost convincing look as he wraps an arm around Sara as they both stare back at me.
At this moment, I felt like crying. They stared down at me as if I was nothing and that I was just worthless in their eyes. But I couldn't show them the real raw emotion.
"Get our of here Grace, before I do something worse than just a slap" Tommy's voice is unwavering with authority and tone as I watch Sara lean further into him. Sara seems satisfied with his answer as she smirks while Iris, stands by as she watches me before I slowly get up and let out a dramatic sob before running into the bathroom, slamming it shut as I let out a fake cry.
Slamming the door, my heart beats a thousand miles an hour. I wasn't sure if the dramatic sob at the end was good but it sure seemed to pay off as the sound of the door clicking lock is heard, meaning that Iris left. At this time, while Sara has her alone time with Tommy, Iris goes and stands guard outside.
"She's worthless, I hate her so much" Sara says as I lean my ear against the door, listening to their conversation.
Fucking bitch.
